Love when the weatherman is wrong! We were suppose to get rain today, it was a little overcast but overall better than rain!!

First up was finally getting my hood vinyl installed that has been sitting in the garage forever!! Kinda pissed how it does not cover the ENTIRE raise part of the hood but still looks good nonetheless!!

Next was tint. I was not planning on doing this but I was there and they were having a deal. 33% is matching for the rear and legal is 55%. I went with 38% and I gotta say, it looks damn close without drawing too much attention to myself!

Last up was installing the bottle opener from Papa Wolf Supply Co! Looks killer!!

That shit isn't easy. I started with a circular saw, but the tire smoke was too much of a PITA to work around. I moved to a jigsaw with a metal blade. Works relatively well, but forget trying to cut a straight line. You do have to put some oomph behind it. I found an up-cut blade worked best.

Damn looks like quite an ordeal! Load E?

Thinking that a sawzall might be the ticket...

It actually wasn't too bad honestly. I thought you had done it already since I got the idea from your thread. I just finished cutting three pieces in about 20 min or so. (The first one was the learning experience). If you have trouble, let me know and I'll send you one. The only real issue I see is the metal wires in the tire leave the pad with sharp edges the I couldn't find an easy way to knock down a bit so is wasn't like having saw attached to my hi-lift. I ran it through my belt sander and it helped, but still gotta watch it when I dismount/mount in the bed.

The smoke is definitely bad. Sawzall definitely works best but you need to start with something else first. I started my cuts with the angle grinder and cut off wheel till they were through the belts in the tire and then used the sawzall to continue the cuts. That method worked great. Even just using the cut off wheels to start, the tire burned through my cut off wheels fast. Once you are through the sawzall cuts like butter. @GHOST SHIP use a flap disc to smooth out the burrs from the belts. I have no sharp edges using that method.

Also @geekhouse23 you keep tagging the wrong person, no "l" in cynicalrider :p

Thank you, I'll try the flap disc. Hadn't thought of that.

The RTIC is a great cooler! I had 2 bags of ice in mine for 5 days while I was in Moab. I have the 45. Took almost 4 months to receive so hopefully they aren't as behind on orders anymore. I just couldn't justify the price of the yeti (even though I'm a brand whore and probably would have given in at some point).

That's good! They took my money immediately, then I was hearing there were pending lawsuits so I thought I was going to lose my money and never receive the cooler.

Yea. They said that it wouldn't matter about the suit. They're still making and shipping

I had heard about the lawsuit. I wasn't worried. Don't even know what they could have done to RTIC

Haven't done it yet. Just got it Friday or Saturday. This weather has been goddamn annoying to be out working long hours. But I wanna mount it in the same way as the thread.

I'm so stoked on the cooler man! Finally I have one that will be good for trips, wheelin, camping, fishing etc. I wanted to see the 45 in person and luckily my brother has the 45 so when he stopped by this weekend, I checked it out. I thought; go big or go home. Not bad for 4-5 hours out in the garage clean out everything and reorganizing everything. I'm sore as hell but hey, happy wife happy life and I got me a cooler!

    Wife approved

Taking Caitlyn on a road trip to MI this weekend for a wedding. Got her ready but torquing some lugs and topping off fluids. My shotgun rider (wife) joined in on the fun assisting me :woot:
