He said he used the wrong primer so the DIY line-x he did didn't stick right. It's all flaky and is just a lost cause. The search begins for quotes for a sandblaster and powdercoater..

    How does it hold up?

Agreed. I wanna just do it once and do it right that's for sure. PC will be the best option just have to find a good deal. It's pretty crusty. I'll try to get better pics tomorrow.

While true, their PC closely matches Rust-Oleum satin black. At least this will be true for the front bumper when I get the hoops installed. I have reached out to Satin:

    EF5791D8-1000-4D86-AC85-388F59677674.jpg

I can only see the the underside of the bumper getting hung up and dragged over rocks, maybe a corner on occasion, but for the most part, where no one would really see the touch up that easily. Especially being high clearance with insane approach/departure angle. Properly cleaned and prepped, touching up PC with spray paint shouldn't be that difficult or hard to point out.

That's good to know! I just installed one of their rear bumpers and skids. I have sliders ordered. I'm hoping they'll be here at the end of the month.

I suggest NOT getting the sliders PC'ed unless you plan to never take the truck offroad or if they don't use salt on the roads where you live. I spray painted my sliders and my brother got his PC'ed and they both look identical as far as paint scratches etc. IMHO, PC'ing sliders or skids, for example, is pointless and a waste of money.

I ordered them bare. I was going to rattle can them just for the ease of being able to touching them up as needed. Since the rustoleum satin matches their pc that's what I'll use.

I doubt I still have the can from the front, but when I got the front purchased (used), I touched it up and it matched pretty well. It MIGHT have been Rustoleum, but I keep so many cans and just use what I have so I don't remember/probably emptied it and tossed it. Sorry man.

FYI trail toys makes a killer pinch on edge trim that is way better. Cheap too. @SMKYTXN showed me the way.

Krylon "Semi-flat black" matches powder coating extremely well. It's usually in stock at Advance Auto

I bought a 250' roll at an industrial rubber/plastics supply house. It is IDENTICAL to what Trail Toys sells. 250' was 1/10th the cost per foot as what Trail Toys sells theirs for. And, like I said, it's the EXACT same product.

Thanks again so much dude! It arrived to the UPS distribution center early this morning. According to my app there's no ETA on when it will be here. Likely tomorrow but who ever really knows..
