Thank God for my brother in law who is in the automotive audio/electrical industry!! Free sound deadening!! There's at least half of the 30 sheets that came in the box, left. :woot:

Looks great man! Do you happen to have any measurements for what you did? I am looking to keep my platform completely removable when I do not need it. Drawers would be nice, but not practical for me or in my budget.

My notes for the build are all mixed up because I screwed up quite a few times. I'll have a look at them and let you know. The final cost of all the materials was a little over 100-150.

Ordered some TC welded cam tab gussets thanks to @ETXTacoma!

Should be receiving the cable for the limb risers tomorrow. Hopefully I can get those built and tested for this weekend's trip!

Pro grille insert from Cali Raised should be here Friday and I hope to get that mounted and installed after work! Preparing myself for the text from the wife

    Forgiveness > permission

I hope to work on the bed platform perhaps Sunday, but with rain in the forecast, again, who knows if I will be able to.

Haha idk about sexy  it's pretty beat up. I will keep it forever as a reminder to never give up on anything haha. So much time invested in that damn thing :annoyed:

Limb risers will mount the same way my version ones did:

Oh snap- that's a freaking easy way to do it. I was working on mounting plates like Chux uses, but I may have to do your way.

Well now that I have the hoops, I plan on going Chux's route with the plate and the quick disconnect turnbuckle. The old school turnbuckle will probably be temporary and just for a couple of trips or until I can make the mounting plates that he made to utilize the swageless turnbuckles I have.

I will be making those plates so I can utilize the swageless turnbuckles, but for now, the old school style turnbuckles and eye hooks is what I will be using until I can make those plates.

I got the swagless turnbuckles too, they should still work with your eye bolts. Chux has a bonus cause his prinsu is chopped on the front so he doesn't have to worry about the risers hitting the front of his prinsu

I think the hooks are too thick for the swagless TBs..I can test later tonight and confirm.

Any tips on straightening out the side wing of a pelfreybilt bumper?

Holy shit dude!! Steel? Some heat, straps and a winch might be able to do it. I am not an expert by any means.

If you know a frame shop they might be able to rig something up and pull it out. Other than that, I have no ideas.

Did you reach out to Pelfreybilt and see if they had any suggestions besides spending more money?

Well fortunately insurance ordered me a new one from Pelfreybilt- sad news is 6 week lead time. So I gotta fix this one in the mean time. I painted my current one with VHT Roll Bar Paint which I love cause I can touch it up when I hit shit, but got the dealership to order me a powder coated one for replacement. Good idea about a frame shop. I'm gonna pound on it a bit and then if that doesn't work take it to a frame or fab shop-- worst case scenario I cut the side off and make it into a hybrid.
