Omg Becky..probably the most basic thing ever..

Hope to rip out the CB drop later this week and then test drive it on the weekend. I'll see how weird things get and remeasure and post all my findings here.

It's the little things that are so nice..

Nice! I used that coupon this morning also. I ordered the ARB twin compressor, Inflation kit, Deflator, Manifold, and airline service kit. I got it all for $563 shipped. I don't think it was a bad deal.

Just heard back on a quote for the TC cam tab gusset kit I need welded up and installed. I got caught up in re-reading the posts from when I got F*CKED over with the bumper and it got me thinking again on getting screwed over.

The shop wants 500 bones to do the install.

    Is that crazy?

    Asking for a friend.

I think they are over estimating the time a little bit based on the recommended install time.

How long should it typically take?

I understand there are factors beyond their control; such as stubborn bolts etc

According to Total Chaos Instagram install video estimated install time is 6-8 hrs.

What!? Holy cow, I figured it would take an hour max and that’s just to grind off the old stuff.

And I guess removing the LCA

So, $500 doesn't seem bad then? :notsure:

Me too. I'm about to buy a welder and learn at this point.

Removing the LCA too... I watched a video from Sprocket Head it’s pretty simple looks like. For the money you could have yourself a welder too.

I would think removing everything wouldn't be that bad to do yyourself including getting the old tabs off but then you would have to find a welder to cometo you to weld the TC ones on. It may help save a few bucks :notsure:. Could always ask some of the home fab guys in the for sale section to get an idea what they charge.
