Black stainless steel bolts to attach my fake ass bushwackers front and rear.

IIRC, Its 20-25 alone for the fronts and the same for the rears. You need two sets if you plan on completely bolting the flares to the fenders. They're a little long but they're black and stainless. Finish them up with stainless steel flat washers, lock washers and nylon threaded bolts from home Depot and they're not going anywhere.

Mine are completely bolted through on the fronts. All the holes lined up except 1 on each side, but with the snorkel mod, drilling 1 extra hole is no big deal. I still have to drill holes in the bedsides because none of the holes on the flares match the bedsides except the very front bottom and very rear bottom holes. Now that I have a high clearance bumper, only the front most bottom hole lines up. I had to drill a hole for the bedside support bracket for the bumper and again for the hole on the flare to secure it.

Again, once you cut your truck up, tiny holes for bolts don't mean shit

Dood.. that’s a lot of bolts for $1.51 each and still need nuts and washers. I plan on color matching the flares so this could get expensive quick. I may look into spray painting the heads of the bolts

    I get it. I do.

I didn't color match and I'm not sure I would like it better than just black. A good call though is definitely painting the fake bushwhackers is some way shape or form. Mine faded so fucking bad it was terrible.

When I removed the rear flares to paint them, I left the fake bolts on the flares and painted over them. I used plastidip though because haters.

I think it's going to look super good color matched on your rig.

Some colors, like white with color matched flares looks bro dozer AF..even if you wheel.

I think color matched looks sick. Looks stock but a little tougher.. If you seen a white color matched brodozer truck the white shrouds with halos, prinsu rack with nothing on it, and 18” wheels with mud terrains probably didn’t help

Also been hearing bout the fading..

    Photo dump from yesterday:

    Filter at 29,7xx

    8C9BAA7D-F273-4A5D-A803-8319FA322D4A.jpg B74BD0C7-6AA6-493E-A372-29DF253357F4.jpg 8A998395-37FB-440E-81DA-E3CAFCDFED64.jpg 888D0176-94B5-461F-AA25-ED275C6438E6.jpg

UNI filter mod was easy and painless. Took 5-10 minutes thanks to @boogie3478 for the video. All the factory items stayed intact and I will be saving them in case I need to reverse the mod for the stealership down the road.

So, the family never showed up and gave us about two hours notice. It was cloudy for most of the day but very minimal to no rain. I had all my tools etc with me already so I figured I would tackle the axle shims mod regardless.

What a pain in the mother fucking ass!! With the u-bolts in the condition they were in, that meant I had to turn them..by hand..

    51FE3E26-B2ED-4AFC-A76D-28134D12AE1C.jpg

Took about 3-4 hours and the only thing I would do different is have a spare u-bolt flip.ki and cut the old shit off. That would have saved so much time. In the end, I got it done and I'm glad it's over.

Leaving the lake house shortly and will report back once I get up to highway speeds.

    That droop though

Also, huge shoutout to Rick aka @Unchained 5150 hes sending me @mesojdm full interior LED kit for the truck!!:bowdown::bowdown:

Been looking for a set for a while and his post popped up yesterday when I was done with the truck. Stoked on it and can't wait to swap them in!!

    Weekend couldn't have gone better!!

Glad to see your filter was in pretty good shape! One guy commented on the video saying his had completely broken down by 30k miles and broken his pump.

    Fuck that sucks.

Definitely hanging onto the stock piece and filter in case shit hits the fan. Did he have the UNI filter mod and reverted back to the stock setup or stock setup only?
