F*CK why are windshield wipers so damn expensive!? Nothing done to the taco today, just driving it around running errands and to the gym.

Stopped at vatozone and picked up the following:

    - New wiper blades for winter
    - purple power
    - gunk for the engine bay

    $75!!!

I was already there and figured "f*ck it; I'll clean the bay when I do all the other 'pre-winter clean-up'"

Email sent to Warn customer service...

Time to see how good customer service is from them for this.

Thanks to @boogie3478 and my wife's inevitable habit to drop things in the truck, ordered and received these side pockets for the front seats:

    1BBA0676-B1EA-4681-A14F-4869CD464EBB.jpg

Took longer to open the box and it did to install them. I think the wet okoles make the seats thicc..I know when boogie installed them, they slid in and out fault easy (that's what she said). This should prevent things falling into the abyss under the seat more than anything:

    36B8899A-8DC3-4070-928C-0870C82791BC.jpg

Heard back from Warn. Solenoids are NOT covered under warranty (not surprised). They confirmed the part number for me and I placed another order from Amazon:

    - permatex anti-seize for the cam bolts
    - Warn winch solenoid part #72631
    - new security bit set; when installing my buddy's prinsu roof rack, my brother broke the security bit for the bolts we all have

    :spending:

Off work Thursday and Friday for berevence and Thursday morning I will be doing the following:

    - install new wipers
    - install left over trim from the rear bumper on prinsu fairing
    - relocate roof rack bar relay in the engine bay
    - test auxiliary lights one more time and pack for the trip this weekend.

Friday afternoon leave for the ORV park.

Liking them already. Bringing the wife along this weekend to the ORV park for the first time EVER and this was done to make her experience more enjoyable. Just like the seat spacer mod for her seat too.

(Get your minds out of the gutters now) Trying to make her first time pleasant and enjoyable as possible to get her to go more often.

I took my wife out for the first time a couple months ago. She was definitely nervous and anxious but she ended up having a great time and now she's ready to go anytime I go. I might even be able to talk her to driving some of the trails.

Nice man! I am going to grab her a "driver wristband" just in case she's feeling up for some driving. The penalize people for driving without the proper wristbands. Definitely looking forward to this weekend. Been a while.

Got some things done on the truck this weekend. Like I said I was off Thursday and Friday for berevence.

    Thursday:

    - swapped out my old and deteriorated wiper blades
    - tucked the roof rack light bar harness out of the way from water heavy areas
    - put the left over edge trim on the wind deflector

    F2D9B329-32BC-40E6-9977-90B924B7A481.jpg

    799E9A98-AFB3-4AAB-9874-1F490E143119.jpg

Friday night the wife and I headed to the ORV park to wheel Saturday. Weather was nice, didn't get many photos and NO ONE showed up for the event. Snagged these few photos:

    25BA39A8-07D7-4255-9325-485B7B5C55F8.jpg

    FD788012-741A-4415-9D46-C06A7133D20C.jpg

Left early since no one came, ran errands, gave the truck a quick wash and vacuum while it drizzled and the wife cooked her infamous chicken and rice with mango salsa dinner! Yum!!

    C531D3A0-6404-4F3E-94E8-79DD795664E1.jpg

Bummed no one showed up but this seems to be a recurring theme and I'm sick of it.

    To do list:

    - wash the truck again
    - wax the truck
    - degrease and fluid film to undercarriage

Idk, brother. It's been happening for about 6 months now. Might try expanding horizons to WI and MI if those guys are more serious about camping and wheeling.

Perhaps. Events are mostly posted on the FB pages but I still posted in the TW threads for those not on FB. Honestly, it's hard to find reliable people locally. I only saw one person who said they would go, but couldn't hang with his SAS'd 80's yota. Sad really.

People want events and they say they're going to go but no one shows up.

This was given 1 to 1.5 months notice. Sounds like a good time. I should move..

That sucks that no one showed up. Hopefully your wife was able to have some what of a good time for her first time out. I'd come wheel with you if I could.

IL. Not by choice obviously. Just happened to be born here.

Oh, btw, wife LOVED the side pockets!! She used them the whole trip to hold her phone when she wasn't using it. No more losing it under the seat!! Thanks boogie!!
