What made you ditch it already? I must have missed something...

If you do have any issues arise though I'll take care of you.

I won a free 20” BD OnX6 lightbar :D I had just gotten the light force when I saw the thread, and threw my name in the hat for shits and giggles. And I won! I was very surprised.

Very valid points. I heard mid next year as well on the SAE models. I have the sports from before they did the latest tech refresh, so they aren't AS bright, but they are still pretty vicious at night. During foggy days, rainy days, etc I'd say they are just right for the job though. The WC does scatter all over, but when you keep in mind that it was meant as a near field saturation lens and not a cutoff DOT lens, it makes sense. That said, you turn the pro models on next to the sports, and oh man! Since I mainly run my fogs on rough terrain, I am really thinking about swapping out my sport fogs for pros...

Sports in the fogs, pros in the middle. Might swap in pro fogs, and add a second pair of pros to the bumper. 40" S8 is on the way for the roof too. Gonna go full trophy truck level of lighting. Taking BD fanboi to the next level. Never had an issue with any of them.

So far my installed BD list is:
    Squadron Sport fogs
    Squadron Pro bumper lights
    S2 side lights
    RTL chase bar

You may already know this but a good reminder anyway. When welding nuts to those frame plates install a bolt first, you probably would anyway to hold it in place, but if you don't the nut can distort too much to get a bolt back in.

    Lights look great

Thanks. Appreciate that. I try to plan and prep as much as I can but something always falls through the cracks; like this. Good looking out.

10% off eBay sale yesterday. Got some weld thru primer and a new CB antenna spring. The one now makes the antenna look like a floppy d!ck.

Did some work on the front end and I love the makeover. Big thanks to @EatSleepTacos aka #RandyFab for the light bar. Cleaned up the front end so much and I am looking the new look!!

No bench testing or night shots unfortunately; for now.

Grabbed a night shot of the new shifter LED bulb with the OTRATTW switches and it looks great!!

Thanks. Took a little persuasion getting it into place, but I think it's the PB mounts that taper towards the front of the bumper. Slid in beautifully until about 3/4 of the way. It's not flush with the front of the cutout, but it's close and shouldn't affect functionality.

Got some smaller shit delivered over the past couple of days:

Weld thru primer, Dakar bushings for the rear when the BAMF beef hangers are installed, and a new CB spring to alleviate the floppy dick symptom of the antenna:

    7F53E6A9-F527-4613-BF05-5C9E1F384238.jpg 879FA326-A43F-428F-9247-9EDEA8DFEE55.jpg

Hoping to swap the spring Saturday morning after the gym. Really hoping the antenna isn't seized to the old spring; channel locks and a vise should take care of it though. Probably use a light application of anti-seize too.

Finally, things are being put in motion to make one last big purchase before the end of the year. HOPEFULLY.

How long is your antenna? I used to have a 5’ fiberglass antenna and the big barrel style spring handled it really well.

4' IIRC. Fits the width of the passenger seat. Which is nice when I have to stow it to navigate the very few parking garages I fit into in our area.

Not sure if antiseize would be a good idea as it might hurt the performance of the CB. I have no clue if this is true or not but it may act as an insulator.

I just used some paracord and made a loop tied one end to one of my bed cleats. Have it pulled down so it's even with the cab. Kinda like how the military vehicles do it with their giant whip antennas
