Thanks to my brother and a good friend, I got started on my way to keep the dog contained while working on the behemoth..it is still it it's rough stages and I have a few more things to add, but I managed to test it tonight and it worked well



Next was grinding and painting the compressor mount I made. It was in pretty rough shape but a grinder with a flap disc made quick work of it. Sorry no before pictures:



Lastly, installed the extra HD crossbars from Zach on the rack.

Still need to paint my sliders but I might wait til after, likely, one of the last trips to the Badlands this year at least. They are something I have been putting off for so long and they really need to get done before the winter.

Need to wash her too, but likely won't be til after wheeling

Last night, did some remodeling to the new house thanks to @GARSHA91 and some friends. I didn't take a before picture only an after pic, but thanks to Google Maps, I have a terrible before pic



This thing was built so terribly; it leaked when it rained, the screen door didn't shut all the way and it started to lean away from the house. So, we tore it down and it looks way better



Still wanna rip off the siding and build a better railing since the top of the railing is rotten, power wash the deck and the house, and stain the decking. I also have to get a new down spout but for now, I left a little of the drain pipe that was left over from the porch so when it rains, water doesn't pour out and soak you.

This weekend is going to be a fun and eventful weekend. Tonight, we are going to see our favorite cover band, relax and get out of the house Her brother is coming down and spending the night. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day. We sold the pool and the guy is coming at 8am to start disassembling everything. Her brother is going to put the yard light back up and assist with taking the heater for the pool out. Then I need to start converting the truck from a city driver to an overland rig for our trip to the Badlands. Leaving for the badlands around 3, setting up camp, have a bonfire, play some bags and have a good time Wheeling all day Sunday and driving back for work Monday morning. Should be a fun weekend for sure, busy, but fun.

I also have @bluewaters182 coming along for some wheeling and some goodies to be delivered

Hey dude hate to be a bug. But do you have some info how you got your factory Atrac switch to be used with the OTRATTW switch?

 

Good news! My brother in law that did the install will be at the house tomorrow! Will have him take it apart just for you!

 

Should ask him to do my truck stuff and I'll take your truck to work lol

 

That rust! glad I don't live up there anymore...I fluid filmed mine right from the start so it made it through one Chicago winter with no issue

I know!

I have some major rust-proofing to do before winter. Can never win with how much salt they throw down here. Perhaps people should learn you can't romp it on ice and snow
