Been a long day already. Dropped the dog at the vet early for her comprehensive exam and picked her up a few hours ago. She's still drowsy as hell. Did my normal 2-hour gym routine after that and then came home to split some wood. The wife even joined in on the "fun". Still have some more to cut and split, but after 2 hours I was beat.

Ran to Menards to get the corrugated roofing panels to finish the roof and decided to build out an overhang with the leftover materials from the initial build.

On Sunday afternoon, the wife and I went to @TRDjoe15 house for a BBQ. While we were there, we got to meet, speak with and recommend some places in Wisconsin to the couple traveling the US. For those that haven't read the thread, @markus30 and his girlfriend are traveling the US camping, sightseeing and trying to find a new place to call home.

    That thread is here:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/my-tour-of-america.625996/

It was a great time getting to meet some new friends from the forum. It's great to see how a simple post could lead to meeting up with the couple traveling the country and getting to become friends with them in an afternoon. It's cool to get to be a part of their journey, travels and story. TW is a genuine place and I can't count how many friends I've made over the years.

Great afternoon talking trucks, travel and their future plans. Hopefully we get to meet up with them again in the future and I'll be seeing @TRDjoe15 again soon in the future.

I was wondering about that to but figured the zerks would be unreachable if installed upwards so I put them down.

Now I'm thinking I did something wrong. You have a lot more thread showing on your upper shackle bolt than i do.

I figured a right angle grease gun tip. My concern, and still is, is the zerk hitting the bottom "valley" of the hanger at droop. But Jerry confirmed that is how they install.

I am trying to figure out what you did from the post below, but I can't really tell. The top bolt does look short. Did you swap the bolts so the longer one is on the bottom and bolted into the hanger? When I swapped the shackles, I think I accidentally put that one into the hanger but then realized my mistake (I was in a rush).
