Nice! I want to get to that level lol

I still have to do the bearing swap too. Just been busy with life.

It's also been hotter than Satan's asshole this summer.

GREAT customer service they were having production issues with the current light sets im running so they were delayed 5 weeks or so. They sent me an extra set of 4 lights, two shirts and a hat for free ($150+ in value)

    Rock lights update:

Bench test went pretty much as planned. The results:

    2 working lights
    2 non-working lights (dim AF)

    680E16C6-6AB5-495E-8711-BC1D6BFC5105.jpg

I'm sure that I could get them replaced from Lux, however, the website looks like they have updated them since I have owned these:

    F348EF46-672B-485C-A891-2EEA8E7B6CF9.jpg

Looks like I'll be ordering a set of 4 lights once I return from the trip.

    :woot:

    Sasquatch lighting update:

I did my best to get the ground cleaned up. I spliced in a new ground harness and sandwiched the ground between two stainless washers (should be plenty to get them to work) however, no luck. They still won't turn on.

I'm thinking that I'll wire up a brand new harness. That should alleviate any chance of multiple shorts or issues.

I did notice that the ground harness I cut out was a bit corroded:

    0C8115C2-3344-4307-B10F-CA7EE08AADC0.jpg

I'm not electrical engineer, but that can't be helping anything. I had a similar issue with my LED pods/dogs two years ago and I'm sure there's other issues along the harness.

I suppose that I can remove the lights and bench test those as well, but that can be done after the trip too.

The upper ball joints should be arriving tomorrow and Saturday morning I have an appointment at the 4x4 shop after the gym.

    Shit's getting done

A bunch of packages were delivered today!

First was the new blue seas fuse panel:

    BDAFC1AF-7581-48B4-B210-54E802970A9C.jpg

Next, BROG's Tacoma attic. I have been wanting to order this for some time now and I finally pulled the trigger. VERY happy with the decision and results.

I'm still waiting for the upper ball joints to be delivered. They're still showing to be delivered today..I have no hope they will be delivered today anymore. Disappoint.

I was hoping to order the new rock lights tonight but I cannot seem to find what shipping company they use. I don't think it's wise if I can't confirm which company they use in the event they'll be sitting on my porch for days free to whomever wishes to grab them; especially a particular someone or their accomplices....

USPS knows how to mess with you lmao

Still waiting for the upper BJ's...they're supposed to be delivered today. Mail is usually delivered between 11am-12pm. I contacted the shop to let them know (the tech isn't awake yet lmao).

I feel so bad but it's crunch time and I need the parts to come in so I can get everything ready for the trip.

Finishing up at the gym now, then, I'm going to get an oil change and run some other small errands around the house and wait for the notification from USPS.

    Well, USPS absolutely fucked me.

Got the upper BJ's about an hour ago and immediately headed to the 4x4 shop. Almost there and they told me that can't get to it today and we will need to reschedule.

At least I got the oil changed today and I'm about to go out and rotate the tires and try not to die in the heat.

    Updated list:

    1) The carrier bearing and upper BJ's are in my possession.
    - install - unknown
    - alignment - unknown
    2) Oil change and tire rotation - completed
    - new wiper blades installed as well
    3) cleaned out the pig again; vacuum and cleaned the glass (for the trip but also tonight)
    4) cranked down the swingout hinge bolt as well. No more sagging.

Getting ready to go out tonight!

    Good day!

This week just got a lot more interesting:

    Tuesday - appointment
Wednesday - appointment at the 4x4 shop
    Thursday - appointment
Friday - appointment at Firestone for an alignment (assuming the 4x4 shop doesn't run into issues or take it to get an alignment upon completion)

    Quite the week....
