Feeling much better today now that the truck was able to get some work done on it.

    - New upper BJ's? Check.
    - Alignment? Check.
    - New carrier bearing? POSTPONED until after the trip.

Huge shoutout to Rick at Chitown for getting her done. And shoutout to the manager of Firestone for squeezing me in at the end of the work day to get her driving straight and true. He's the real MVP for today.

Splurged and got lifetime alignments from Firestone as well. Ballin out today...

    Fuck exhausts.

Fruit of my labors from this afternoon:

Especially, fuck this particular bolt super extra, extra MEGA hard. He can eat a weezing bag of dick tips and die.

Only other casualty besides the bolt; still works!!!!

@geekhouse23 got a link to your air hose set up? Trying to figure out what kinda hose to run from my compressor in the bed to the front/rear bumpers

I used a 50ft hose and NPT fittings from Harbor Freight and just trimmed to fit. I believe he did a similar thing.

That’s easy, I was just worried about doing that and running hose by the exhaust to get it to the front

Yeah, I have a few wires that run along the frame in that [header to cat] area, and at least one has touched the heat guard. Just gotta zip tie them real tight and often in that area

    @HolyReptar This. Simple and effective.

If routed properly, it shouldn't be a concern.

So many zip ties. When I was under there removing the rock lights, I had to replace and even add some. I really think Toyota cut some of them. I can't think of who else would do that.

Last time I was under the truck, I considered deducing a way to add some electrical conduit along the frame rail to run wires through but I figured that would be way too much of a pain for what it was worth

I need to run 4 more wires and the 2 hose lines under my truck and I hope I never have to do it again. I spent 3 weeks doing everything my roof rack and bed. Its the first time I almost wish I paid someone lol

I'm pretty picky on electrical, so if I have to do a bunch at one time, yeah, I burn myself out pretty quick.

Anything worth doing right simply takes time. At least you can be proud of your work and show it off.

I am too. It also really annoys me. But, I am trying my best to learn it and get better at it.

Do you have a part number for the proper replacement? Mine does not lock into place.
