First day off work. Got a few things done while still taking time to relax from work.

    - Got the tray protected with tray liner
    - got the new emblem installed

Has anyone used contact cement? Do you recommend amazing the paint down? If so, what grit? To bare metal?

I want to attach the rubber mat with it. I used something else for the green cart and it works great but I wanted to try this.

    To do garage list:

    - MOAR T5 lights in the bay and workshop
    - Trail toys gas tank skid plate
    - cleaning and organizing the garage
    - rearranging the house a bit

I can't recommend amazing the paint down cause I have no fckin idea what that is.

I would wipe drawer down with brake clean on a rag and give it 10min to dry good.
Contact cement is good if done rite.

Another question for @EatSleepTacos and @Sociopenguin

How do the straps work? I'm looking at the pics and I'm not entirely sure..about to head to the garage to start.

The three with the metal cambuckle type were pretty easy to figure out.
The plastic one that goes on the left front spot I honestly gave up on and left it off.

Checked, I don't have any pics on here....

Not saying the way I did it was correct, but I'd be more than happy to shoot you some when I get home.

It looks like it loops around the driver's side bracket and back to the passenger's side around the hook bracket and then into the gator jaw :notsure:

Let me lay it out and snap a pic

Each corner is its own strap. You should have 4 total. 3 with metal buckles and one with a plastic buckle.

Yeah, that's the way I did it. For the most part.
    It was confusing as hell.

Frustrating regardless; add to the fact that I was waiting over 2 months for this skid plate...

Either of yours stop short of the end of the gas tank before the axle?
