Totally true. I just have to ignore the fact that the fab work will run me over lol. It will be fine since I'm doing 2 phases.

I need to sell my dual battery goodies and then I can grab a 31M that will be offset by said goodies. Looking forward to it. Also, I have to get my core support welded

Has anyone run into issues with Rigid lights not working when it's cold out?

Headed to the gym this morning and I was on a road that runs through a forest preserve and the rigids wouldn't work. Pulled into the gym's heated underground parking garage, got out to check it out and suddenly they worked.

It was 12* this morning. Winter vortex a few years back got down to -40 something I think with wind chill.

On another note, the Baja design lightbar worked great..might slowly swap everything over. The 20" lightforce is constantly an issue too.

Did you solder or crimp your wires? I’ve seen Solder cause this on factory leds in the cold (third brake lights mostly). If you used the rigid harness this would be a non issue

I used those solder/heat shrink combo connectors to the factory harness.

None from what I can tell. It only happens in the "extreme" cold.

That's not what she's going to say tonight...

If it acts up again I would try replacing those solder heatshrink things with some marine crimps and heatshrink. MIGHT fix the issue

Are you running a relay..and if so any chance of moisture inside? Try tapping on it next time it’s acting up.

The fogs are wired through the factory harness (so yes?). I am wondering if there is moisture in the connectors. I am going to try to look at it over the weekend (perhaps Sunday) if I get the chance to. In the fall when the weather was changing, I did have to rub/tap/stroke the connectors and they would pop on. The connectors seem to be the weak point..

Dielectric grease inside connectors, helped with my retros. I'm using on all connectors from now on.
