Thanks man! I appreciate the feedback.

I'm looking for something cleaner than the steelies. The winters of the Midwest, salt etc. have done a number on these steel wheels. I plan to keep them and have them repaired and re-powdercoated.

I knew when I saw it in Harry’s thread that it would blow up. Videos of trucks in whoops usually do because it’s so cool watching the cab float and suspension work.

Got some new tools coming my way. Pretty excited.

I've been eyeing the M12 right angled die grinder by Milwaukee. Picked it up on sale from memorial day.

I have all the mandrels, cutting wheels, sanding pads etc coming for it as well. This will come in handy to help clean up and seat the new seals onto the reinforced knuckles.

I have some countersunk drill bits coming for woodworking, a Milwaukee pick set and some toolbox organization bins coming too.

I hope to get in the garage this weekend doing some more organization (pending delivery), and get going on cleaning up and painting the LCA skids so I can toss them back on and get back on the trails.

I'm going to try removing the reservoir stickers up front and attempt to remove the swaybar relocation brackets to get the reservoir brackets seated flush on the frame. Didn't bother removing them the other weekend since there was too much going on and I was just happy the swaybar wasn't seized.

I also have some new tophats coming for the OME shocks since they had to be butchered off. This will be for King rebuild purposes. That's why I kept the old 12" Billies front the rear too.

Looking forward to a good weekend after a long, long (yet short) week.

Oh yeah, I have some items to install on the truck too. Not sure they will even get done this weekend. It's supposed to be a hot one.

Got the Slee offroad compressor mount kit in:

I have a dash cam kit to install too that was a gift from my brother for my birthday.

I also have an emblem to put on the 72 also:

I got that mount, it was a bitch to install, for me. I had to undo it several times because I had to reposition the compressor to be able to reach one or two of the mount bolts to tighten down. I would mock it up with access to mounting bolts in mind. It should've took 30 minutes, but took me a few hours I think. That said, it could've been my own stupidity and doing it late at night when tired with little light. It's held strong ever since though.

Looking forward to cleaning up the engine bay. The mount I fabbed years ago has been fine just very rough.

I might hold for now; as I mentioned, it is supposed to be hot this weekend. I can also hold to try to install the snorkel with the stock piping instead of galvanized piping. I'm guessing it would help to clear that pipe anyways to access that area.

I can also grab a new air filter to toss in too.

Luckily everything is wired; just not sure I will have the time this weekend.

    Thinking out loud here:

Contemplating having two modes for the truck; summer mode and winter mode.

Order some bed bars, RTT security brackets and just send it.

Part of the reason why getting out there is annoying is having to have someone to help lift the RTT on each time. And the truck won't fit in the garage with RTT on the topper.

Only real issue is where to store the topper. I can build a house system in the garage I suppose. Would make it easier to convert back and forth solo.

    Hm......................
