Did that last weekend, just in time for it to dump again this weekend. Fun fun.

 

Supposed to get snow tomorrow and Friday this week.

 

Moto safety class was super fun today. Holding the motor in between sessions just to feel my hands

Oil change is on hold because the bike can't be started to ensure a proper oil change. Battery is dead dead. Brakes were able to be bled successfully. Weather was great today but not lucky enough to go for a ride.

 

Also, received my prinsu wind deflector vinyl. Still too cold outside to install it.

 

I got a sick set of rides in yesterday, and was hoping to get a bigger ride in today since streets are pretty quiet on Sundays here.

The fog, rain, and snow decided otherwise

 

I think it cracked into the 60's here today. Wasn't paying too much attention because I didn't want to get more annoyed than I already was.

 

Motorcycle update:

- Battery was dead dead. Drove it a ton 2020 but didn't drive it in 2021. She's on the trickle charger getting nursed back to health. If she's not ready to run this weekend, I'm going to swap it out. I think I have a 3 year warranty at AutoZone.

I need to run the motor a bit before changing the oil.

Truck update:

- need warmer weather to install the deflector vinyl

- allegedly, the wheels I want are 2 weeks out of being at the vendor and available for purchase.

Really hoping that's true..

 

Motorcycle update:

- oil change done.

- old battery had been sitting at 80% charged since sometime on Friday before getting off work. Let it sit over the weekend and tried starting it this afternoon. Would crank over. Tried a jump pack and it wouldn't fire. Removed the battery, went to AutoZone to have it tested. Test came back good just needed more charging. The battery was already 6 years old so I swapped it for a brand new one. Got home, fired right up no issues. Let it come up to temp, drained the oil, put the new oil and filter on and took the old oil back to AutoZone for recycling. No leaks, sounds good and I'm ready to ride.

Anxious to get these wheels ordered, now.

 

Today's mod..

A little sanding, some paint and it'll be done. Letting it cure for a few hours inside with the heat up and then I'll apply the vinyl and reinstall.

Being that this is an older deflector (I'm an OG prinsu customer) it might not line up perfectly. It is what it is though.

 

Made it work. Didn't really line up at all. Luckily, the edge trim helps and there was enough extra left over to fill the gaps. Overall, I'm happy with it. Happy I didn't have to buy another, updated deflector:

So, update. Last update I received was that they were going to ship April 4th. Cool. So I signed into my account and I still don't have the order in my account nor a tracking number. Gave them a call. Spoke with Mike (for my own notes). Mike told me that they didn't receive them on April 4th and, now, they won't be available to ship until May 2nd.

Immediately requested that Mike cancel my order.

Cancelled.

What hose did you use in your OBA setup? I'm wondering what would be the best for running front and rear like yours, though I plan to mount the compressor under the hood.

 

Fyi, im using 3/8" dot air line. Probably something similar could be used. I also have my compressor in the engine bay, but my tank is mounted under my bed in the rear
