Woke up and felt the need to be disappointed. Was originally going to head out in the morning, early, but plans got changed around.

Earlier this afternoon, I worked on the truck; greased the driveshaft, adjusted the headlights a bit more and put on the amber fog light covers for winter. I was going to wash and coat my wheels but I need some more microfibers. Can't seem to find mine.

Ended up going out this afternoon. Got skunked. Tried everything. Still nice to clear my head.



Rescued the non-existent fish from a potential disaster. Found this spool in the water. People..I swear.



700 yard spool with easily 500 yards left on it. I should be good for backing for the next season; easily.

Live and learn.

Monday night, I was driving and the headlights were HORRIBLE. They basically pointed straight down and one was higher than the other. Got home later that night and got them readjusted. Apparently, I had the high beams engaged on Sunday afternoon, too. Not sure how that even happened or skipped my mind. Then, apparently, the adjustment to raise the headlight height is backwards so counterclockwise raises the beam (IIRC). So I thought they were as high as they could be raised on Sunday but wasn't paying attention to the beam pattern or rotation.

Made sure to take the measurement and replicate that number on both sides. Flipped the truck around and tested them before closing the garage door for the night and they are MUCH, MUCH better. The beam extends down the whole driveway (slight decline from the garage to street), across the street and about two feet up the neighbors garage.

Going to put the wrench in the truck to get them dialed more, if needed, this weekend now that daylight savings time is here.

Driver's side rear door unlock actuator went out.

I've done 3/4 and my last one is temperament all I'm the span of 2-3 years. Every time I'm kicking myself for not doing them all at once and getting a discount on all of them lol

 

I said to myself that I should have done both rear doors when I did the passenger side

 

Rear driver's door actuator fixed. Gets easier after you do it once. Took about 30 minutes but it's 25 degrees out and I didn't want to break any clips. Succeeded with the exception of the door clips.

Going to be keeping these motors/actuators and clips on hand ready to go at a moments notice.

Front passenger door lock actuator is going out. Awesome. Going to be replacing that one and the driver's door. Parts en route; taking forever. Probably going to use the one from the rear driver's door.

Driver's side rear door is sticking. Not sure how. Not sure why. Something internal? Unknown. Took a stab at it tonight. Door unlocks but you have to cycle the door handle many times before it will open. It's to the point where you feel as if you're going to rip that handle off. It will unlock when you press the remote or switch on the driver's door so it's NOT the actuator. Took it apart a few times to no avail. I think it's FUBAR.

Part is 2 states away. Hopefully it's here by Thursday or Friday so I can get it replaced in 10 minutes and move on. So fucking frustrating.
