I replaced my steering wheel but I'm looking for a better one. Most of them are hollow plastic. I just use a Bluetooth speaker that fits into a cupholder. Eventually, will probably have something fancier for when it becomes street legal and we can use it for errands etc.

 

Whipped up a way to store my grease gun without, hopefully, leakage. Tightened up all the fittings, too.

Separated the USB charging port from the key switch to the 12v circuit through the fuse panel. Upgraded the charging port to one with a power button, too. It's only on when it is needed.

Cleaned up some miscellaneous wiring, too.



The new, blue backlit battery capacity/voltage meter will arrive Monday.

New month, new house project. More on that later.

Got on em pretty good today. Good first day back out in a long time..







Next project is already making headway.

Almost finished with our big project inside:



Above shows where things started. And hoping to have the right side caught up with the left side by Sunday afternoon/evening.

Golf cart motor sounds like it's going to blow up, so we are going with a 48v conversion, AC motor conversion and 160ah lithium battery upgrade. Should be able to get around 30mph and 50+ miles of range on a single charge. Was always the plan but the alternatives to trying to repair the stock motor isn't going to give us what we really want long term. Also going to get it street legal soon, finally.

All the lead acid stuff and new onboard charger are for sale. Hopefully get that stuff delivered by end of week or Monday so that next week/weekend that can be all done.

Just have been super busy and getting more involved with the community and really making a name for ourselves. So much so that I was brought onto the board of the HOA. Never thought I would see the day after being so adamant about never living in an HOA.

 

Love the cart and house, and happy you liked the gifts my brother.

My dad bitches all the time about his HOA so I get it. Recently I had to dig up and replace 2 dead shrubs in the front walkway. He said he's asked for 2 yrs and keeps getting put off, so F em..I told him don't touch the shovel so he has plausible deniability if asked haha

We had been carting around all morning and some of the afternoon. Just wanted to ensure the cart didn't die.

Hopefully won't have to worry as much with the lithium, now. Speaking of, I think the battery will be delivered this afternoon...
