Operation garage organization continued ft. Independence day shenanigans..

Thinking about building a smaller "layout" table since a 4'x8' one is out of the question. Thinking 3.5' x 5'.

Trying to see if it would be possible to just add it to the setup now. It's doable but too tight in my opinion.

Matched the old laundry room cabinet door pulls to the new cabinets. Not sure why I didn't do this sooner.

    Done and made a mess.

These clamps are good for when you're painting something and need to hang the item up out of the way to dry. I swapped out the quick coat hanger hook for something more substantial.

Independence day in no particular order..

Took a trip to Home Depot yesterday and picked up some of these DeWalt organizers. So, used the rainy season afternoon showers to take a few hours and reorganize the organizers.. probably going to pick up some more of the DeWalt ones and maybe another stalwart or two. Not a fan of the bulky husky ones anymore. They're good for how I have them organized now but might do away with them all together eventually.

My 1/4" drive 1/8" deep and shallow sockets arrived in the mail on Saturday. Craftsman doesn't make one but SK tools does.

Threw up a hook in the back corner of the garage to hold my push broom and harbor freight work stands. Gotta get a shed for this stuff but happy they're up and out of the way for now.

Thinking of moving the 72 to where the current workbench is. The pegboards (currently completely empty) would get removed and I would build shelves for the DeWalt organizers (get more) and Stalwart organizers (get more). If room allows, chop down the current workbench, replacing the top for a butcher block style top, rework the bench vise setup for something better.

Then, where the 72 is now, I would build and place the 3.5' x 5' (might go with 4'x6') layout table with a different top for projects, more space for things like lawnmower maintenance, woodworking projects etc. Basically any task that is currently being done on the ground will be able to be done on this table (within reason).

I need to swap the 72 and current workbench and see how much room I would have left for possibly a smaller work table next to the 72.
