Love the sticker collage on the deflector. Usually I hate shit like that but that one's awesome.

Replacement rotopax mount FINALLY made its way and located me..now I have to swap it out for the old, damaged on and send it back. I have a love-hate relationship with warranty replacement processes

More snorkel parts arrived today though!

    c867fe3ecfc23828c9349f33561cee40_ee36f85e587ee73c774c07c82d7f81bd1975db13.jpg

Also placed an order for my 92mm hole saw and shank and the replacement fender :yay:

If I'm impatient enough, which I probably will be, the plan is to swap the fender and install the snorkel the day before wheelin the 20th :muddin:

    FOX shocks arriving tomorrow!!

Thanks to RuffStuff for the free t-shirt giveaway!! Al you had to do was review them on Yelp and they sent me a free shirt! Snapchat is useful for some things

Hey dude, ever get this figured out?
Also, LOVE how you made the snorkel plumb up to the stock intake tubing! Looks very clean under the hood!! Any advice for someone who is about to delve into this?

Thanks man! Getting anxious to install these parts haha! I'm thinking I might actually pick up a shock relocation kit from Jerry @ BAMF and having a buddy from work weld it up :woot: just have to see if he can handle the job

Make sure to measure really good on the angle that's a big key factor of the BAMF kit.

Have not figured out the Atrac. After the last big go on it I lowered it on the importance list.

To be honest my snorkel install was a blurr looking back. Between the hype of drilling out the fender and a few drinks it seemed like I blinked and it was on. Double and triple check the holes, my bolt holes had to be reemed a bit but did not make a difference once done. That was just part one. Part 2 involved me fighting to get the exhaust pipe into the stock piping. @JLink previously put 3 relief cuts on the stock side, and I shaved down the wall thickness with a dremel, then torched the plastic to make it maluable to finalize the connection. I finished the pipe out by myself wishing I had 4 arms. If your looking to reuse the stock parts as I did, it's not easily but it's possible with a lot of persuasion. Take your time, work yourself through each step. You will be better off with the bent exhaust pipe, find the angle that best fits and mod the mod. Good luck!

Screenshot your post with it. Any degree numbers? I wish there was a template that came with the kit :boink:

    Thanks dude!

Can't bring myself to cut up my stock one just yet  I'll get the spare one colormatched and everything though. New fender was only $50

Need to find someone who knows what they're doing then..this build would progress so much faster and easier if I had a welder :anonymous:

Picked this up a little bit ago from my buddy @Rock Lobster :woot: have a little bit before I wanna swap batteries, but it is coming soon and saving money in the long run, is always a good thing!

Last night I spent about a half hour prepping the fender for tomorrow's planned carnage!! :sawzall: One thing was putting loctite on the fender threads and tightening them down on the snorkel body. I also placed the fender flare clips in the new fender. I received the remaining plumbing supplies for routing the intake to the snorkel and the hole saw and the shank are ready to go! Honestly, the hardest part is going to be swapping the fender and fender flare; making sure all the little clips and bolts are removed and don't break and put back in the right spots and making sure everything lines up and fits. (Almost thinking of just cutting up the stock fender :anonymous: )

I will be waiting until I fit the spare fender to Caitlyn and then I will be drilling and installing the snorkel! Here is a teaser from me fitting the template to the fender last night. Thanks Kurt for the awesome template!

The snorkel RAM air grill from yodaTEQ should ship soon..and they emailed me yesterday asking if I wanted a black powder coated "TEQ" grill instead because they are out of stock on the stainless ones. Of course I said yes! I hope it doesn't take too long!! :goingcrazy:

And it's now been 4 weeks officially since I ordered the SOS shackle flip bracket for those still keeping track (another 4-6 weeks potentially) :gossip:
