Holds it in place very well!!

Well I took a couple hours today and got everything done that I wanted to this weekend:

    1. Rotated the tars; forgot how much of a b!tch LT 33's are to move around and mount!!

    2. Installed KB Voodoo's tailgate cap from Christmas and Mobtown offroad's tailgate enforcement plate:

    4f8cf10663f553b028696596075c90d5_31204b4e80973ab87ce2e0735af2a42af6fc313d.jpg

Makes the tailgate so much beefier and heavy!

    3. Mounted the Wheeler's CO2 bracket and the CO2 tank for full #EAF points!!

Took some flat steel I had laying around and drilled some holes:

    44172cfe10b1fc30ea5c048316b50511_d34184b45da9265dbf7170082396984d9cef70dc.jpg

Take some nuts and bolts and washers and attach the steel to the bracket:

Mount the bracket and steel to the bed rails with tslot nuts:

Mount the tank in the bracket:

Done!! No issues after driving around for about an hour already! Looks killer!!

Tailgate plate and cap looks awesome! Def on the list once I have some cash to burn. Wait till you get 35s, I hate rotating tires especially getting that last 100lb bitch on the swing out. Not sure if you follow andrewpounder on IG but those MTR 40s weigh 86llbs a piece and they are C rated, fuck rotating that shit

I got stock length. I have the 6+2 Dakar pack with the D29XL installed.

I takes with ragin and he said that with his KRULL build, rear steel bumper with swing out, cap, RTT and expo weight he was about 2" higher in the rear with ATO's stock length shackles. I'm no where near that with the bumper and without so I didn't see a reason to go any longer.

I was looking at the 5" XJs though before I made my decision. Plus, I can always upgrade if need be. Just 4 bolts and they're swapped in.

    No. Unless you buying..

I was reflecting today and I thought to myself, this is going to be the 3rd overhaul on the rear suspension in 3 years..should stay this way for good just shock purchases/upgrades.

I hope to address the front towards the end of the year :playball: sway bar is coming off this spring though..

How long of an air hose did you get? Long enough to keep the tank mounted in the bed while filling?

Also, take a pic of that regulator when you do your 1st real air up from a trail ride. I'd like to see how iced over it gets please.

I got this guy: I have heard that with the coiled hoses, you cannot reach the hose to the full length without it being really hard to uncoil.

I still have the ARB hose for my OBA compressor under the hood that reaches all fours without issues. I'm not sure if that hose can handle the pressure of the CO2 tank? :notsure:

I'll have to see how heavy the tank is filled and decide from there if I will use the Harbor freight hose or the ARB one instead (moving it around could be a bitch). I guess if I wanted a CO2 rated hose that can reach without issues, I'd get the IAS hose: http://www.instantairsupply.com/par...25-flexeel-braided-polyurethane-air-line.html

I'll take pics of the first use for sure! Perhaps just a mini write up

The straight ARB hose is probably your best bet even though the clip on end they use is shit. The regulator should be whats keeping the pressure in the bottle and feeding the hose. When I do this I'd like to use a "shop style" hose with quick disconnect. That way if I ever want to run tools, its an easy hookup. Plus shop hoses roll up easy.

It would be cool to figure out how to mount a shop style hose in the back that you can just pop in and out..I have thought about that before for this tank :anonymous:

It was mostly for the "write-up" to show how cheaply it can be done DIY..I'm waiting for you to catch up to me though

It's just going to be fitting a new end on the hose and possibry on the regulator. The ARB has that proprietary BS so you're going to have to head up to HF and look in the compressor section.
