Those are 285s in the picture, I only trimmed the bottom of the flare where needed but the rest I left alone

Thinking about picking up some fake bushwackers from eBay since a local set got scooped up by someone else :notsure:

I rather cut up fake bushwackers and keep the stock ones that are still in decent shape and make some money if need be

    Thanks Scooter!

I already had to trim the lowers where the mud flaps have been long gone and the wheel spacers aren't helping any.

I haven't checked full lock yet but here's where I am on the driver's side:

    9ce6cca3959eea57e6497bf0497e61a7_a083990df1b0d290802fd8aac2be325c4a2fd78a.jpg

Might need to bust out my trusty BFH and go to town..

I will have to check full stuff in a couple weeks and go from there. And I still have the sway bar installed so it wouldn't be as bad without it.

I'll trade my 285's for @Acerwin's 35's and they'll get used more :anonymous:

Caught Cailtyn mallcrawlin' hard asf last night :spy:

Couple things getting done this weekend since I am on call for work and stuck at home :pout:

    1) maintenance and general look over of the rig - need to go over all rear end suspension bolts and hit them with a impact. Going to try to also check the torque on the lugs and spacers and make sure everything is good to go.

    2) start organizing tools and gear to take next weekend - extended weekend trip and I want to make sure I will have everything and anything I need.

    3) check fluids and check for leaks

    4) zip tie mania - check wiring and cables to make sure nothing is loose and everything is working properly.

I also heard from @NwiTACO at NwiFAB and he will be starting on my custom shackle as soon as the stock is delivered (tomorrow) :woot:

For scale pictured with an ARB shackle:

    c691c9da0896f41e4717d4f3aca5e847_9ae4ecaf4a44e5d762dfc7c447a6067cf2e52958.jpg

Hope to have it for my bachelor party (April 1st-3rd)!! Plan for the mount is for it to be fully and 100% functional for recoveries not just to look badass.

Lastly, the Poly Performance fairlead should be here tomorrow!! Can't wait to get it installed :luvya:

Anyone know when I can get some bumper support brackets like these:

I have the Pelfreybilt ones from @ChandlerDOOM but I am still running the sway bar. The one in the pic is Jerry's but he's not making them anymore :pout:

I sent an email to elite offroad but I'm not sure they're still around :notsure:

Besides elite there's brute force; theirs are probably the best prefab anyway. The real fix to that is getting rid of that thin ass stock mount and welding some thick metal in there with reinforcement.

You can run both sway bar relocation and frame support, I think its even in the directions  Plus you should ditch the swap bar anyways

Someone should make a kit with studs and all, cut the old one off and weld the new one on.

On my to-do list..I think @NwiTACO can handle it. I plan to run full hoops on this since I can purchase them from Satin! Then limb risers shortly after..

I don't think the bolts will come out from all the salt and rust :anonymous:

I'm sure @NwiTACO can rig something up. Better than any other mass produced and it'll be custom and probably work better for your purposes

I planned on ordering the headlight hoops too, I couldn't get it done on my order but I figured I could easily have them welded on.

    Gotta love the midwest....

Unless you have a really soft suspension I could understand running one in the winter because once the body starts rolling (even from a gust of wind) it doesn't help on ice/snow thats for sure. But any other time of the year fuck the sway bar, plus its fun going fast in the corners and scaring people

I ditched mine before winter and was fine. I love how it handles now too. It's sitting in the gay radge but I don't see a need for it
