If you take the time to skim past all the industrial stuff, theres some garage use gems in there.

    What a weekend.

Saturday #1: worked in the garage for a few hours rearranging some things and coming up with a game plan for the garage project and then worked in the backyard bucking and splitting wood. Finished the day by cooking some steaks and making a bonfire.

Saturday #2 (Sunday) : Had my buddy over and worked on his Jeep; got his wheels derped, flares removed, some minor bodywork done and I installed his aftermarket radio. Plan was to have my brother over as well and work on bleeding my brakes and getting the drum boot fixed but my brother tweaked his back Friday and couldn't make it.

    Sunday (Monday) :

Chain was really dull on Saturday #1 from last weekend at my buddy's house cutting down that water soaked tree. Got some new chains, flipped the bar and then took down the tree with my mom's help.

The bushes will be coming out and the landscaping will be started. My buddy with the Jeep is in landscaping and forestry. He will be lending a hand with everything; including drawing up blueprints.

Got the measurements for the workshop figured out and a good plan drawn up. My mom sort of grounded my plans that I originally wanted to do because she reminded me that I need to tread carefully should I be moving away for good in the future. I don't want to invest too much if I'm not staying. Good conversation with her.

Don't worry, a new toolbox is definitely happening.

I love my HF tool chest. Extra deep and the the slides are great. It’s got a few thousand road miles in the trailer and held up great too on the way to and from the track loaded with tools and spares.

I am going to start off with some simple 2x4 and plywood open shelving. I wanted to get some tan cabinets, but, again, cost effective for now and upgrade once I figure out if I am staying or not.

I will definitely take your suggestion on the Craigslist ads. That's another good option to keep costs down. The big focus is going to be the toolbox.

Nice! I have been eyeing that cart as a roller for the garage. Space and cost will be a factor for sure. Appreciate the input, Connor!

    Fixed.

I have the 52" Husky, laid out similar to the Milwaukee you posted. Mine is the gloss black and has roller bearings instead of sliders. I'll never go back to slides. I love it, doesn't have some of the features available now but I got it for under $600 on sale probably 5 years ago. A customer of mine bought one for their machine shop and they loved it. I just waited a while and eventually they went on sale. Another thing to keep an eye out for is in store returns. I saw one identical to mine a couple months later for like $500. Mine doesn't have the built in power strip but had knock outs to run power through so I just added my own as well as some LED light strip around the inside of the lid.

That's what I recall as well. It was over 5 years ago that I bought it. Couldn't even remember. Thanks Conner!
