Went to my brother's house yesterday and got the frame plates traced out. Hope to hear back from dirt designs this week and then go from there on next steps regarding that.

Fixed the winch today!! :woot: But found my switches I'm the cab for the winch are not functional :pout:

New on the left vs broken AF on the right

    5F495645-EE9E-4CC7-B3B2-DF3A26947D0A.jpg

Blurry close up of broek AF solenoid:

    209D25C0-E95E-45F7-A5DF-3FBA570DED2F.jpg

    Added some horsepower too:

    F0ECCFD2-B605-4C0B-89B1-152D89E2F67F.jpg

Now that it's functional again, going to unspool the winch line and install the Bubba rope grabber thingy. That should be Friday. Hopefully I get my Adam's order and can coat and seal my windshield Friday as well.

MIGHT be spending more money at BAMF tomorrow too :anonymous:

    :spending::spending::spending:

But seriously, I did all my shopping for my wife over a month ago and I didn't buy any of that cool shit today. I do feel like a squirrel storing projects over the winter for spring/summer....

I did take advantage of BAMF's sale and ordered up some HD shackle hangers. I need to take to @jberry813 to see what he did to make his ATO shackles work with the BAMF hangers. Hopefully it's not too much.

Rethinking the DMZ frame plate kit too. Person I was in contact with used that kit too, but I don't know what he paid for it. All he said was it was a good deal for what it was and talked down to me. Anyways, if I can't find someone locally to CNC the plates for a reasonable amount (looking to stay under $125) then I'll suck it up and get the DMZ kit.

Received my ECGS and Rock Auto orders today:

Still no @Plastics Guy bumpstops :notsure:

But I did manage to complete the Adam's windshield glass sealant kit:

Hope to tackle that and the bumpstops, if I ever get them, Friday/this weekend.

Here's some frames plates! Canadian company so all prices on the site are in Canadian funds:thumbsup: starting November 23-30 they will be running a 20% off sale.. not sure what shipping would cost to get them to the USA but still probably cheaper then buying in the USA. I think you have to call to get the BF pricing... but the plates are awesome I run them and have had no problems the last 2 years.:canada:

Some cardboard, cutoff discs, and flap discs. Get some plate and make your own don't need a CNC to do it. Plus unless you have cut files or something already done then a local CNC guy will probably charge you quite a bit since he has to get under the truck take all the measurements then create a cut file. That labor gets expensive quick especially when the 1st set never is just right and adjustments have to be made.

Hell yes! Seems like Canada has what I need and can't find in the US!! :woot:

For shits and gigs, I am going to reach out to a local shop and see what the damage would be.

I did maths and the kit above from Canada with shipping is right where I want to be monetary investment wise.

Let me try and find some! I'm currently en route to Oklahoma for a bmx race so I can't go snap pics of the truck. Maybe I could answer a question without a picture?

Here's the best picture I have of it when they got installed! It's not the best picture but I could get some more for you Tuesday if needed.

    Thanks @sasquatch95 appreciate the pics!

Looks like there's just one crossmember across near the rear bumper. Any reason you didn't run two or more like below?

Yes currently only 1, my original idea was to take up where the spare tire used to be with 2 batteries so I had them only put 1 tube in, well that was two years ago now and it's still like it is in the pictures. Haven't gotten around to relocating and adding a second battery :D

Trying to figure out what I'll need to setup mine, my second battery will be in the bed. Guess I just need some 1/0 cable to go from the engine battery to the bed battery?

Correct. Any reason for the bed? I plan on using the spare to jump the main in case I have a dead battery. That would be a long jumper cable unless you have or plan to buy a jump pack.

I'm gonna have my on board air back there and already have a deep cycle back there. I do have the NOCO GB40. My engine bay doesn't have much room for a second battery with my retrofits

Yesterday I received my Kore 4x4 plates in less that stellar condition. I understand they're going to sit in my garage for a while and would have looked this way eventually before installing them, but if I was a company, I would NOT have let these ship out like this:

    AF88983E-D95D-4BAC-B59A-5DDBDDBACEFB.jpg

Next up, I received my @Plastics Guy bumpstops. They must have thrown TSA for a loop because I believe I was notified Monday morning that they were delivered to my building, but received them at my desk this afternoon:

    4249C79D-CC44-4BA9-9644-B84A7F352A33.jpg

Managed to find the Allen key I need to remove the Wheeler's superbumps. You can see how much you have to cut to install them without dropping the LCA:

    225903EA-56BB-4399-A17F-5C5A659018B7.jpg

I coated and sealed the windshield this evening while the wife was at the mother-in-law's prepping for tomorrow. One less thing to do Friday! I hope I can find some time and energy to get those bumpstops done on Friday between being stuffed from Thursday and black Friday shopping errands. Friday evening is also a friendsgiving..

    :hungry::hungry:

Next, thanks to @boogie3478 and having funds in the PayPal account, I ordered the super bright LEDs shifter bulbs. I ordered one in cool white and one in blue. Not sure which I will like, but, man, do I need to stop watching his videos (kidding).

And finally, I hope I can find time Friday or Monday morning to call in my order for those frame plates from the great white North. It seems locally sourcing the shop and time for a template will NOT be worth it cost wise. I have been emailing with them back and forth and they seem like great people to work with. I look forward to doing business with them.

You'll love those LED shifter lights. I completely forgot to show it in the video but they also work just fine with the factory dimmer switch. On a different note, I can't believe Kore sent you the plates in that condition. :annoyed:

I know I was pissed when I opened the package and still am pissed. Like I said they'll sit and get like that but to ship it that way!? Come on.
