Good to know that I made a smart decision grabbin' some now haha. One less thing to wait for.

PM thread with Micah stemmed from Jerry discussing the shock relocation mod. If there is something I should know or ask for specifically, let me know so I can message them ASAP.

So companies like accutune and filthy motorsports if you call to place your order they will go over your vehicle with you and valve the shocks very close to what you need for free. This will optimize them for your rig. Otherwise they come however King wants to set up the valve stack and then they won't be as good as one that is tuned. I didn't go with DSM because I didn't see anything about this service from them without an extra cost. I could be wrong.

I think DSM will do one re-valve for free, based on your experience with the stock valving. It's also really easy to do if you don't want your truck down for a week, and I have the tools.

The BAMF relocate is great, with those kings, but get it pre-welded. The time to burn it together isn't worth the savings.

Thank you. I sent my information to Micah.

I have the shock relocation kit already (pre-welded for the reason you mentioned) and 12" Billies and it is time to upgrade the Billies and Dakars to Deavers. I plan on hanging onto my Billes and current front OME setup once I get the new King shocks and coilovers for ease of rebuilds and not having to be "down" during that time.

    100% agreed.

Talked with the owner of the local 4x4 shop this weekend at the event and the recommendation from him was Kings over ADS for the fronts. Again, I was already set on Kings in the rear, just was torn on the fronts. The ADS coilovers are known for their clunks and his recommendation was to go with Kings. Icons came up, however, the known issues with the top hats shattering or causing issues with the shock mounts came up. Funnily enough, the owner had not heard much about that issue for how much Icon product they move.

I am guessing once I get the rear Kongs and get them installed, the fronts will come shortly after.

I was kinda thinking the same thing I burned all the 63 swap stuff together in about an hr. I thought it was probably about as much as the BAMF towers.

So the upper ball joint nut is kinda difficult to access with the new spindles. You can get a ratchet and socket on there but not a wrench, which can prove tricky to keep the ball joint from spinning.

Use a pry bar and wrap the tip in a towel and shove it in between your coils. Then push the uca downward into the spindle and that’ll keep it from spinning.

You may already know this but wanted to share just in case, to save you the frustration.

I hope to be either at a buddy's with basically all the tools to swap everything or a shop with a lift and most all the tools to get the job done.

    - ECGS bushing
    - Marlin tab gussets kit
    - Gusseted Spindles
    - Coilovers
    - Swaybar delete (torching and cutting will be necessary)
    - LCA swap (OEM replacement since cam bolts are seized)

Biggest thing I'm worried about with the front and need to check on is if I can get the bolts where the swaybar mounts to the frame off. Once I know I can get those off, then the issue becomes the Brute Force Fab bumper brackets. BAMF has their brackets which seem to not interfere with RR mounting. Unless I just order coilovers without RR's up front and then all of the above is a moot point and only cutting and torching is the main thing.

Well, I got antsy, the wife was at her mom's and was able to squeeze it in before the downpour that wasn't supposed to happen today happened:

    C1A7293B-CC4D-487D-8C82-B139C690DF2B.jpg

Went in like butter. Lathered the 'X' brackets with anti-seize, grade 8 hardware with anti-seize and torqued down using :muscleflexing:

Not 100% complete yet, but it's 98% there.

I received the stainless hose clamps for the Kong RR's today. The Kongs are still scheduled for delivery on Friday, but I likely won't get my hands on them until Monday as they're being delivered to work.

I showed off the brace to the guy that burned it together on Saturday at the shop event (doesn't even work there). Great dude. I'll see if he has some time on the long holiday weekend to assist and burn the resi mounts on.

Still waiting on 2 quotes for Deavers but I'm hoping for a local shop purchase to save on shipping and pick them up myself; not because I'm trying to hide the new leaf packs like I am the Kongs.
