Got a few things done tonight :)

    - installed ATO whip mount (Thanks Peter!)
    - installed the reinforcement plate for bottle opener
    - relocated diff breather mod from driver bed cubbie to behind the tail light
    - installed the "no-Loss" valve stems

Nothing exciting but stuff is getting crossed off the list!

*Side note: motorcycle finally started! :D*

So I took care of a few other things on my list towards my summer goal of getting out and wheelin. Since today is my birthday, I figured it was the perfect excuse to spend a little money :p

    Ordered:

    - remaining CB supplies and goodies
    - IFS skid plate (HUGE thanks to Peter on letting me ship it through his warehouse; saved a TON on shipping)

Busy, busy day..did not get nearly as much done and I had hoped as I had other things going on today.

First, I picked up my Pelfreybilt skid from Pete this morning. Got it home and painted. I will mount it and post pictures tomorrow.

Next, I ran to Radio Shack to pick up a few bits for my CB installation. Amazon seller sent me a 5-pin instead of a 4-pin  I was able to mod a 5-pin and a 4-pin to an approx 5 foot 4-pin cable :D

Then I started my trailer wiring harness relocation. Overall, I am happy just not really what I wanted :( oh well, beats breaking it on the trail and having to replace it  Mounting it was a S.O.B but it is solid. I really only use it twice a year; if it comes loose, I will have to get something that bonds better.

Next up was the Flyzeye package I got during last year's Black Friday sale  yes, it has been collecting dust since then!! This is only the piece that sits above the climate control buttons, the glovebox and center console lights will most likely be installed tomorrow

Can take some night shots tomorrow if there is any interest. Love it so far though, very clean and stealthy install.

During all this, I was painting my skid, painting behind the grill with high temp BBQ grill paint and getting my new toolbox configured. Can't wait to get that skid installed tomorrow.

The rest of the skids (mid, transfer case, tank skid, rear e-locker (?) and rear diff armor (all-pro) should be ordered next month.) Hopefully will be able to get together with Mark to get my skids welded on and then go wheelin'!! Still working on deciding what tires I want, what size and if I want to get Wheeler's steelies to replace the stock alloys.

    Skid:

Floor jack was on the fritz and I had to lift this behemoth into place by myself

Next, was the 4x4 Tundra emblem on the tailgate. I removed the "TOYOTA" emblem above the "TACOMA" emblem for good and then removed the "V6" emblem and put the 4x4 one in it's place. Now everyone will know I'm 4WD since the mud flaps are long gone

Next was the console and glovebox lighting from Flyzeye:

    Center Console:

    Glovebox:

Center console was easy; the glovebox was difficult lining up the magnet with the LED component. But, managed to get it to work

Now, while it might not seem like that was much done, I also painted and cleared ALL my satoshi pieces; FINALLY!!! :goingcrazy:

I had the use JB weld to attach the zip tie point that are going to hold the mesh in place. The 3M tape didn't hold well to the fiberglass on the rear. No biggie.

Fabbed center piece and grill mesh:

Mesh came out looking good; painted and cleared. Looks really glossy but you can't tell from this picture.

Bad pic, but here is the color matched grill surround I did. From chrome to this!! looks 1000000 times better!

TOYOTA emblem color matched and outlined in while as promised. Had to make a few touch ups but you can't really tell from far away

Better pictures coming soon. I will be assembling the grill and attaching it to the truck THIS WEEK!! :D
