My DC has a dealer installed roof rack made by Perrycraft. It's a rail system with adjustable cross bars, not sure about weight capacity

The prior owner of my 03 DCSB installed a Nissan Frontier "Crew Cab" roof rack with the "aero" front deflector.

Still debating internally whether to remove it or not.

Oh that reminds me. Some guys have fitted the older 4runner roof rack to their double cabs with good success

I am looking for a roof rack that I can haul a canoe/kayaks as well as other miscellaneous cargo. I have an 04 double cab. I was considering the smittybilt defender rack but am not sure if it would work for hauling a 17ft canoe. Thanks

Finally getting some pics of my rack. Took an old rack off of an early 90s 4runner and cut it off a little to fit. What you guys think? 1444777452863-538641146.jpg 1444777573792-596025940.jpg

I know this is an old thread but I'm trying to track down some info on a roof rack for my DC. Is anybody making something like this now? Me second question is having a mount that hooks the inner rain gutter, does that cause any leaking issues for anyone or more road noise? Thanks guys

Prinsue wants too but can't find a truck to design one on.

I grabbed some old 4Runner racks. They look great on double cabs. Require drilling but with sealant there's no issues.

Where are they located? I would volunteer my truck if they are not too far away.

Depending on how long it would take, I wouldn't mind a little roadtrip

Sounds like I need to take vacation at work. Depending where in Utah a trip from AZ wouldn't take long.

well like i said, im pretty sure its two different trips. One for initial measurements. Then he has to tweak designs and suck. Then you have to go back for install and filiment check. If everything is 100% then you'd be done. But if something needs changed then you'd have to go back again.

Hopefully he will pop in and mention something.

I put racks on top of my camper shell. Could be a decent alternative if you're open to having a shell behind your cab.
