Alright my suspension front and back has gone, I’m pretty tight with cash these days given inflation and hope to do most of the work myself with some help from a mechanic buddy.

I’ve attached pictures of my rear setup, the shocks are Bilstein B8 5100 Series Shocks 24-186728 they came with my truck like this when I bought it used. I can’t figure out what those spacer/blocks are. One looks like it’s taken some damage and they should probably be replaced, hoping someone can help me with a solution here.

Up front I have Toyotec Ultimate Coilovers. I take it I have to replace the whole coil over form searches I did. Do I get the same thing or does anyone have any suggestions otherwise?

I’m effectively on 33” tires, so don’t want to lose any height that would require further modification otherwise.

Truck is a 2011 Tacoma TRD sport, Crew Cab 4L Engine and 6ft Bed.

Those spacers for the shocks in the rear have to go I’m betting the shocks were short and previous owner had no clue what he was doing. How is the rear lifted? Full set of coil overs and rear shocks will be about 1k.

Maybe some pics of rear suspension let’s see how they lifted the rear.

The best bang for the buck would be a set of new bilstein 5100. They are made for a lifted truck. But since you don’t have an oem from spring…..you will have to buy that. Maybe someone locally will donate their old spring…..or you can buy a spring from one of the big auto part stores.

the rear spacer is to extend the shock. The shock is made to extend a certain amount, so they added that “spacer” to extend the travel. It looks super ghetto and weak (that’s why it bent)
