prefers drum brakes over disk on rears. They last longer, trust me I had them damn disk on chevy. after 60000 miles, had to change them out. they are damn pricey.. MY 12 taco got drum brakes. no heated mirrors sucks.

no heated mirrors. no heated cloth seats (2013's dont count they arent cloth heated). and no factory remote start.

also Day Time Running lights that you cant shut off (fixed with switch mod).. also i think fixed for 2013

ABS sucks.. and i wish you could just TURN OFF the traction control. (soon to be fixed with a switch)

and no mechanical limited slip :( (soon to be fixed with detroit true trac)

The rear drum brakes are adjusted automatically if they are working properly.

    No adjustment required.

When you press the brakes when in reverse the adjuster will take up any slack in the brake shoe adjustment, it also works when you use the emergency / parking brake.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Everybody keeps talking about a small sunglasses container... use the one closer to the rear of the truck it has twice as much volume my Oakley's don't stand a chance fitting in the front one but fit perfectly in the rear one.

My main complaint is 2 leaf springs in the rear on a 4x4 TRD Offroad. If I stack my ammo cans in a foul spot I bottom out on road drainage ditches. The only other gripe is how dim the lights are on the driver side left hand switches like the rear locker, traction control etc., same with A-TRAC button and on-steering controls.

If you don't like the compass on the rear view mirror you should try driving somewhere that isn't down to your mommas house.

No mud flaps, plasti dipped emblems, and rear bumper, Weather tech digital fit, Bed mat from tractor supply. Pioneer 4400BH head unit. B.A.M.F bed rail tie downs. AVS vent visors.
lol. this is true! bed lights do come on some full size. my dads ’00 tundra has them. but they don’t light up much of the bed IMHO. they are to far a way and not angled right. i would like bed lights that are along the sides of the bed itself. i may add some.

I hate the price of a brand new one loaded and the fact that TRD is just a few changes with the trim and not under the hood performance.

    Just sayin!

It did this before I did any mods to it. Im sure the lift/tires dont help, but its not the only reason.

    Dislike..
-Lights not coming on when turning off ignition.
    -Unsatisfactory climate control.
:weak leg and windshield air flow
    :chirpy blower
    :iffy temperature adjustment
-Cup holder by center console only fit a soda can and the two rubber holder under the dash get stuck to anything bigger than a soda can.

Salex Center console organizer, glove box organizer, Husky Xact contour front and rear digital floor liners, OEM black running boards, TRD PRO Sema 4runner wheels black, Blackout badge kit, Bakflip MX4 hard folding tonneau.
To solve the sunglasses issue I bought the center console organizer as well as the glovebox organizer from SALEX on this forum. Just search glovebox organizer. Sunglasses now fit perfect in their own spot in the center console.

I second that! Would of liked for the holder in the center console to be bigger.

    I'll check it out!

    For me it would be:
-No factory heated/leather option in anything but the limited
    -No climate control
    -No automatic headlights

Seems they're getting off to a slow start in 2013. Haven't seen many new trucks in Nor CA either. Been keeping watch for over a month now.

It's a long and painful wait. I just can't believe that they don't track it better. It's a $35k truck, you'd think they'd have a pretty good idea of where it is and when it should be here.

my f150 in the owners manual it would show you how to turn off the door lock feature. it was not like some GM cars, you could still open door if you were backing up. inside light, when i open door about 2 seconds latter it starts to come on and it takes a couple more seconds to get bright . key fab, have to many keys on my ring

I purchased a 2013 in December. Like the Taco, but it comes up lacking in a few areas:
    - drum rear brakes
    - no locking tailgate
    - doors do not automatically lock when driving
    - weak springs
