ANyone know if bumpers might fit. Really like the AP Baja 2.0 for 3rd gen. Already tried them to see if they would custom mod one for 2nd gen and as well as make a 2nd gen and answer was definitive NO. Im willing to do some ,major DIY Mods, but have no idea how different the Aluminum bumper attachment and the bottom crossmember is between the 2 as well as the plastics. Willing to Hack a ton of plastic as well.
    ANY help would be appreciated.

I know AP offroad is in a bit of trouble from The beginning of the year issues. But it seems like off the shelf new stuff is being sent readily.

Reviving this thread, do the bumpers plug and play? Would a 3rd gen fit on a second?

I would like to know this as well. Does anyone tried to add a driver grab handle to the 3rd gen Taco?

The handle would physically bolt up to the A Pillar, But it's not going to match up with the trim panel too well.

The 2nd Gen trim panel and handle are a little different shape, sure it would look horrible.

I don't think it would if is the same color panel (black.) You can also modify the 3rd gen panel for the 2nd gen handle, the only thing you will need to do is to drill a hole on the plastic for the second bolt.

The 2nd Gen is grey color so it not a match, the handle is a rounded shape too and I don't think the base of the handle would sit flush up against the 3rd Gen trim piece, would look awful.

I wonder if other Toyota models has the driver side panel/handle and would retrofit the 3rd gen Tacoma.
E.G. I know for a fact that the Rav4 side mirrors are interchangeable with the 3rd gen.

Reviving this because why not. Did you ever get an answer to this? I'm looking at a pair of front seat only to see if they will fit from a 2nd to 3rd.

UPDATE: 2nd gen seat covers fit the 3rd gen. Snagged a pair of coverkings for a pretty $30 for almost a brand new set. There are a few different configurations in the 2nd gen (front bench seat?) so be wary of which configuration you are getting. Let me know if I'm wrong and also if you want pictures of the fitment.
