Its time to replace the rear shocks on my 2013 Tacoma TRD Sport. Looking for part number for oem replacement shocks. Also, which shocks could I replace with that would be an upgrade without installing a lift. I recently replaced the rear leaf springs as one had cracked on the passenger side. I went with heavy duty 4 leaf packs. The rear now sits with 8" clearance from the wheel to wheel well. No other suspension upgrades installed.
Basically, i want to replace the shocks and am wondering if there is a shock that would be an upgrade to the stock blue and yellow bilsteins.

There are upgrades, just not as cheap. You could get blue and yellow replacements from someone on the market place for free if you asked.

Here's some upgrades you might like Or basically any rear shock on this page with a remote reservoir will be an upgrade.

Thank you for the suggestions. How do i determine if they are compatible with a non-lifted vehicle if it is not in the description? Would the bilstein 5100's fit even though they say they are for lifted vehicles? For example "Bilstein 5160 Series Shock Absorbers are high pressure remote reservoir gas monotube shocks designed specifically for lifted pickups and, SUVs." Is there sizing or measurements I should be looking for?

You want to be looking at the collapsed length. The 5100 that say they work with 0" lift are 14.02" collapsed and the icon 14.22". So I'd say any shocks that are under 14.5" collapsed are a safe bet.
