This means that they will fix it, if you have a problem while they are still in business, or if you don't die due to their poor quality. Also, if they cannot find a way to wiggle out of it.

My 2008 Tacoma with 14,500 miles is rusting pretty badly. My driveway is full of rust marks where I park in the summer. My dealer told me to take it to a body shop and have the frame spray coated. Now thats what I call first class service.

For those of you in Wisconsin, the dealer is Jack Safro.

I knew somehow my trucks problems were not Toyota's fault..... Feeling guilty for having driven it!

I guess that I am lucky that I paid for mine and can send it down the road whenever I want. Oh, that want is coming up really quick.

I have read where people fix this and that where Toyota won't cover it under warranty. They insulate the interior to quiet it down, paint the frames to keep them from rusting apart and on and on. They do look nice, but they are built like a piece of junk.

I do drive mine in the snow in the winter, but so do the Ford and Chevy owners and there's aren't rusting apart after 14,000 miles.

    I'm done with Toyota forever!

Tuffy2 I hate to say it but I agree with ya....I bought my truck and it had spent it whole life in Arizona...how I manage to have a vehicle with 60k miles in a dry enviroment with frame rust is beyond me..It seems like the quality of Toyota dropped dramatically once production moved from Japan over here to North America

Don't worry, there are enough Toyota Fanboys on this site to tell you we're all wrong.
And if you start having problems, the same ones will jump down your throat.
The Tacoma is a decent truck, by no means junk. It just isn't superior to the average vehicle. It has it's good and bad points. Not to mention the only other product that is worth considering in midsizers, is the Frontier. And in 10 years, we will know which is better, right now though, the Fronty with it's F-Alpha frame, is not looking too shabby.
Keep and eye on the frame, keep it salt free, and if it doesn't work out; sell it! These truck still have solid re-sale value.
    Congrats on the truck, BTW!(?)
