We are all Tacoma owners, too each his own,but third gen, guys need too stay in 3rd gen.area and same with 2nd gen, beating each other is pointless.Just remember its Toyota that cant get their crap together, not us members and owners.

I kinda liked when my toyota trucks were built in Japan. All my J vins never needed a TSB. :notsure:
Ok, ok so the bed body seams and frames rotted through....
As far as a being a 2Gen owner, I want all who own a Toyota truck to drive whatever model year they want. They only thing that stops me is they cost so much now. My 13 TRD OR was 29,500 so I'm keeping it as long as I can (fluid filming baths regularly).

I agree. My 09 was great, but it's hard to force a 6 ft teenager or my wife to sit in the back of and access cab. Needed to go to double cab, so when the money was right drove to the dealer and saw the 3rd gen sport, both my son and I said yep. Made him sit in the back of the double cab, he said it works so I told the salesman get me one in a manual. Salesman wouldn't shut up till I drove the auto, about 3 miles later I pulled in back in the dealership. Salesman asked what I though, I said it's an auto I told you I want an manual. We went inside and started the ordering process. Then I joined TW looking for pictures and what I found raised my blood pressure for a few months. I thought about canceling my order about twice if not more times a week for about 3 months. Glad I didn't, now I work hard to give shit to those that bash the 3rd gens.

And when I am seriously thinking of investing 30 to 40 thousand dollars on something I'm going to get all the info I can on it, and what better place than the 3rd gen side of Tacomaworld, eh?
