Gen 3 Access cab Fire Extinguisher.

Finally got around to mounting a fire extinguisher in the cab of my 17' Tacoma. Took roughly 30 min and doesn't effect the ability to use the folding back seat. Only catch 22 is that I had to remove the plastic cover on the release latch for the seat (and now I can't mount my 5.56 PDW there (insert sad face here)).


Please tell me what you think and/or if I should post a how to thread.

5 times the discharge time of a standard 5 lb. extinguisher. Compact. Doesn't rely on pressure, never needs recharged. Compact. Easy clean up non caustic non toxic discharge. Compact. Did I mention it's compact? Pop the cap off, strike it like a traffic control flare aim at fire 50 second run time for E50, 100 seconds for E100.

I bought a case (12) after watching the demo at SEMA. One in each vehicle, 2 in the garage, one in the kitchen, one in the basement.

I had 4 left and as friends or family would see the ones mounted on the toolbox or side of the refrigerator, questions lead to..."where can I get one?" All 4 were scarfed up in a week or two
