Leveling kit 2" , big tires , diamond back bed cover.. pro grill and I removed the center piece from the cup holder...that's about it.
So i started running new speaker wire yesterday evidently the factory wire isn't heavy enough to run 100 watts through .. oh well it's not that hard if I can fit the crossover behind the kick panel getting the wire through that rubber boot on the door will hopefully be the hardest part which isn't impossible i just haven't got around to trying yet.. it's the pac ap4-ty13 that has me stumped I guess once I start plugging thing in it will make more sense.. wascgoing to run back doors off factory amp with the t-harness but it's sort of confusing anyone have it figured out that can help me understand it??

The cdt 2 inch coaxial sounds better it's not as loud at 4ohms but the Amp will help if I can get clean enough signal

Go by Home Depot or somewhere and get a small pack of the 4’ zip ties. They work great for running wires through door boots. That and a little bit of soapy water and it will slip right through.

for the amp pro, you have the amp side and the speaker side of the harness. If you want to power something from the factory amp, just connect the speaker side and amp side together. It makes more sense once you have it all laid out

To OP, what you are asking has been done by several 3G owners dating back to 2016. I was maybe one of the first few on here who tackled a job upgrading my OEM JBL to components, sub, Line Out Converter and amp. The OEM amp is going to restrict you with a lot of things. Almost 9 years later and I am looking at upgrading my receiver (head unit) and finally trashing the OEM amp.

the main issue most have had isn't doing the work, but paying for the vehicle with an extra charge for the 'upgraded' sound system, only to rip it all out and start over and re-pay for those same parts.

Yep, I've bought all i can buy right now i found the ampro cheap on ebay or i may not have gone this route I've been told I'm trying to put lipstick on a pig by a friend that's owned/operated stereo shops since I was in high-school in the early 90s so I knew what I was getting into, got a good deal on the truck with 12k miles on it i didn't pay for the jbl exactly but I hear ya I didn't want to do all this but after having better for 30 years it's hard to settle . Heck my Hondas factory was way better than this one but here we are... does anyone know what these 2 screws in the back wall preventing me from installing the box on driver side are for? I just stopped for cutting wheels to deal with them but I kinda want to know their purpose before I cut them off.

Any chance you can grab a pic? I'm having trouble picturing the bolts you're talking about

the hook is for a child's car seat. most subwoofer boxes will fit under it, so dont ditch it just yet.

those bolts can go. some trucks had a computer module or something mounted on the back wall (honestly not sure what it is and I dont feel like figuring it out) and those were the mounting points. If you dint have the module, you dont need the bolts.
One can be seen in this image, holding the module to the wall

So i can cut them off flush or at least flush with that material? I don't guess i can take them out but I can cut them down easy enough ,I'll give the fit a try before I cut the hook ,it seemed like it was in the way when I test fit but hopefully I'm wrong I hate to cut anything I don't have too.but I won't be needing them mine is too big for a seat now. Thanks for your help !

Yeah the bolts can just get cut flush with the back wall, or at least as short as you need to make your box fit.
Definitely do a test fit to see about the hook. You never know 100% if you may have a time pop up where the truck has to get sold, and the next buyer may have little ones. But if it needs to go, it needs to go

If you ran all new speaker wire, just leave all the speaker wire connections plugged into the JBL amp.
