Gen 3 Speaker Upgrade WITH JBL "premium" system

I bought the amppro used so I can't seem to get any tech support anywhere

 

I don't know which plug is which

 

The amppro should be installed behind the head unit if I recall correctly. Do you have any pics you can post of what you’re working with?

 

I was told it went back with the amp to get signal there from the head unit man sorry I'm so confused

 

Pre-2020 went back by the amp. 2020+ goes behind the radio.

That makes sense then I'm trying to connect it to the amp not behind the radio .. thanks I've been pulling hair out all day!

 

Yeah things changed a bit between years.
Leave all the connections as they are at the amp and the sub will keep getting powered. Just run new rca cables from the amppro behind the radio to your aftermarket amp

 

One last question if you know .. and thanks man I've been at it all day.. I have a 2022 and I have found there's one with 3 plugs and one with 2 i have the one with 2 that is a lkng white plug and the other one has 2 grey plugs in place of the long white one that I have the r.2 and the other I'm not sure which I need as i haven't pulled the head unit cause I been trying to plug it in at the amp and for the love of the www I can't find good info anywhere

My ty13 has a different plug where the one in the picture has a grey plugs mine just has 1 long white plug not like either picture you just put up it's not the 12 or the 13 I'm beyond over it for today at least

Yeh im returning it already ordered what I hope is the correct one from crutchfield they will help being it was bought from them and if it's not right they will take it back.. unfortunately with the weather my crossovers for the front componets are late and I'll need longer usb to run the length of the cab 17ft should be plenty?

 

Longer USB? What are you using a usb cable for

Yes, I’ve got 17’ run from behind the head unit, across under the drivers side dash, and down the drivers side door sills to the cubby area behind the back seat

 

Man I finally got that ampro in and the sub channel on, so its working i also have 1 rear door working but the only wire I've managed to get through yet took me a while to figure out how and I'm struggling with the other one now.. still waiting on my crossovers to be rebuilt for a 2ohm woofer and a 2" cdt coaxial x @ 500hz he originally made them for 8 and 4 ohm woofers so the frequency was doubled in my case not ideal so I sent them back to be changed .. hard to find someone that knows how to do that and willing to do it for cost that was a blessing . But hopefully in a week or so I'll be hooking them up its supposed to be freezing and crappy all week so I dunno if I'll get past this other back door if I do ... just grateful the thing is working and everything I did seems right now other than getting my channels backwards but easy fix thanks for all the help!
