I am in need of more aggressive tires for winter and have access to some Gen2 alloys locally that are also 16x7. What I do not know about is the differences in wheel offset so I will have to measure this on my 'Y-Spoke' alloys to be sure. Additionally, I need to know about clearance for the brake caliper up front. I have drums in the rear so presumably there is no issue on the rear axle.

This 5-spoke alloy is the specific wheel I prefer because it is subtle:

Please let me know. I have only been looking at Toyota alloys; nothing aftermarket.

According to this website, those are +30 offset. Shouldn't have any issues on the brake calipers but depending on what tire size you run, you could rub the UCA pretty bad.

They will fit. I am running 2005 Tundra 16" wheels on my 2017 Sport for winter purposes.

Anything factory equipped 16" and larger with the 6 bolt lug pattern should fit the 3rd Gen Tacoma, regardless of model. The brakes front and rear are all identical on the 3rd Gen regardless of year or equipment.

(There is a change to hub pilot diameter on new 4runner wheels.. not sure year this started... these wheels may require modification to fit correctly. )
