Pulled the trigger today with the second shop. Verified and actually saw they use good quality wiring. Switched out the hifonics amps with kicker amps for a few bucks more. Also opted for an Alpine head unit as I’m not overly impressed with stock. Truck will be ready this evening. Anxiously waiting the final product

Install is complete. Took the shop about 8hrs to finish. Removed everything that was stock jbl. I must say, it sounds like another world. The two 10’s Hits so hard and the clarity is crisp it’s hard to explain. Ended up with the Alpine 650 and so far so good. I really like the interface. Much nicer than the stock head unit. Hope it lasts! Paid cash for a discount. $3200 out the door. Anyone want to buy stock JBL stuff? Lol
