I’d like to add a blue sea 6 or 12 fuse block, 100 amp breaker, and probably establish some real-estate for a relay box for future projects like rear lighting. In the short term il be adding some interior ambient and reading light. I will likely use the Paranoid Fabrication or Power Trays, tray for a platform.

Currently I have the Genesis Off Road dual battery kit with Odyssey 34’s and this all runs to a 3rd Optima Yellow top via 2 guage wire at the passenger firewall (see pics).

My first question is should I run a set of 4 guage to the circuit breaker and new panel or just tap the 2 guage that’s running to the third battery? I really don’t care to run another heavy guage from the Odyssey battery and don’t really want to cut into the 2 guage either but I think that may be the best option. I was thinking maybe a large fuse that serves as a junction for the 3rd battery and the added breaker/fuse box assembly. If I go this route, what size fuse should I run here or is there another bridge I should be using? Maybe a large buss to continue to 3rd battery and tie new panel from?

    few questions,
    1. yea, for sure go with the paranoid bracket lol,
    2. what do you use the 3 batterys for?

for me, i would wire up the panel to the house battery (depending on what you want to power) i would run new wire for that along with the CB for it.

I see! I expect you may like that bracket!

long story short,,,,my car barley started at work back in sept-oct so I went straight to Autozone and put the yellow top in, in the parking lot. In the mean time I came across a fair deal on the genesis kit. Not wanting to wait 3-4 years to install I went ahead with the Odyssey 34’s but didn’t want to waste the yellow top.

As you probably know...the factory fuse box is pushed back a few centimeters to accommodate the new tray....do you think your platform still fits?

hmm, if the fuse box is moved my stock setup wont work, but give me some measurements and we can make you a custom one.
