We might have met on previous Toyota forums before TW ??

Thanks for the slack ... I probably had a "buzz" from my "old man sleeping meds" when I typed that ...

Cleavage isn't everything if she's smart, cool, and drives like the wind.

So? That would merely make her the perfect wingman! Or wing woman, whatever.

Cheers to this response.....I've got an Inalfa 925 in my 2nd gen. I chose that roof because Inalfa also has a trim ring they sell for Tacoma's to address the ribbed roof design. I also chose a reputable install shop with a guy that has been doing aftermarket sunroofs for 35 years. Two years now and no issues, no leaks and it gets tilted open nearly every drive I take. Oh, and no bondo either.

    . . . ^ ^ ^ . . . FYI .... From my experiences with Toyota as an insider .... and an outsider (customer).

Toyota USA and with some regional distributors ... doing certain mods can jeopardized your warranty IF they can tie that mod to other tangent OEM problem issues. I know there are laws to protect the consumer, but still be cautious there. Toyota USA "tends to be" more liberal (with warranty issues) than most other manufacturers on mods too.

This can get touchy and a lot of people will get a dealer to do the certain mods as to attempt to bridge this problem. SET (in the past) tended to be more liberal than most on issues associated with mods.

This can be especially sensitive with the OEM Toyota-USA-Corp. "Platinum Extended Warrantys".

I hate to eat crow but when it was released, I was completely against it. I thought it was as ugly as sin. However, the more I look at it, the more it grows on me and the more I like it. I'm digging the interior.

That's how I felt when the current 4runner first came out with the aggressive front end. I hated it but when I saw one in person: TRD Pro, I was drooling over the entire package. It was beautiful inside and outside

There was a thread on the 3rd gen where someone photoshopped it to show what it would look like modified. Looks a lot better IMO.

It will look better modded they all do. Just remember it will take a good year easy to see working and proven mods starting to trickle out so plan on 2017ish and on for some stuff.

I think this 3rd gen will take more work to look nice than the 2nd gen did, but it could look pretty sharp in the end. Then again, I'm not big on the flashy "look at me" styling, so I'm probably not the target audience. :D
