Love the photos I have seen so far. I hope it looks just as good in person.

I like it. You could always color match what was the chrome bezel around the grill and that would reduce the amount of black. Here's some racing stripes for ya!

How hard was it to plasti-dip in all those tight grille pieces? I'm thinking of doing the same except color matching the bezel around the grille and either leaving the badge chrome, or color matching that too.

The Orange around the dash didn't seem as bright orange in person. Almost kinda red-orange. But I must say the stitching adds a nice touch.

Yeah. Getting a photo that shows the correct color seems to be very difficult... depending on the light, angle, etc... it looks like red, orange, yellowish....

I just got that by doing a screen shot of Toyota's website.

I wish toyota did the body color interior dash for more colors. Would of loved a BBP dash surround, with blue stitching.

Exterior is the ugliest thing I have ever seen! It has a giant ugly grille and a HUGE plastic lip inter the front bumper. Interior is pretty nice. I like that the radio is all touch sensitive like Sienna's. The moon roof is a nice addition too. My work only has an SR5 and a TRD Sport right now, so those are the only ones I've personally seen. However, I don't suggest buying it until next year... Might be a good idea to see how the new engine works out first. I'll stick with my 15... It looks sexier.

Disagree...... At least about the looks. But we are all allowed to have an opinion. Hopefully the new engine won't have many issues.

Have you seen one in person yet? I just did last night. AC TRD Sport in Silver. I was a little hesitant on the looks at first and thought the same things as you, but it doesn't seem overwhelming at all in person. The truck looks very mean.

I guess the camera doesn't do any favors to the Taco, but seeing it in person and driving it I DEFINITELY see a solid improvement over the Gen 2

If you like that inferno bezel on a white truck, you should see it on a black one.

Nice! My black one that should be in today or tomorrow has the black/orange interior.

Since the 3rd gen is so much different than the 2nd gen, lmao? That "archaic" truck you refer to also has the highest resale and has proven to go 300k+ miles trouble free, the 3.5 has yet to be proven. I'll stick with something that is proven over new and fancy any day.

Just add some +5MPG stickers to it and you'll be good.

I mean... it is a fairly significant difference. I bet a bunch of people back in 2005 were saying "I'll stick to my proven 3.4" too, but Toyota made the 4.0 great. I have no reason to believe the 3.5 will be any different.
