It does a bit. They put In a change on a vehicle they are already having built rather than just having to order one. It kinda moves it up the que. The fastest way is to just dealer trade, but all the builds like mine out there have the tech package, which I don't want.

    Greetings,
New to this forum. Just got my '16 one week ago. So far feels like a pretty sweet rig and am hoping for a good long relationship. Unfortunately I'm a high mileage per year person. I traded in an '06 Tundra with 305K. What a great truck that was:). So time will tell. I got the SR5 double cab LB with the Appearance package. Initial impression is I sit lower(of course), the hood has a longish look when in the vehicle, gas mileage is 23+/- according to the onboard readout, and the XM radio is awesome. Question about tire size. I'll be taking the Toyo tires off for winter, and putting some snow tires on, because I live for the snow. Got to get to the ski area on powder days. Will a 265/75/16 fit OK?

Great news. Got some Hakka's coming my way. Hopefully the snow soon follows.

Anyone who followed the status on their truck. My truck was built and will be shipped next week sometime. About how long does it take to port once it leaves? My truck was built in the Texas plant and I am keeping my fingers crossed I get it before thanksgiving madness.

Why should anyone on this thread be concerned about whether the Ridgeline or any other truck will take sales away from the Tacoma? Are there a lot of Toyota stock holders on this forum that are concerned about their investment? Seriously just curious.

A Ridgeline is not a truck, it is Honda's version of an El Camino without balls!

Honda has no desire to compete. They are innovative company wide. Like the product or not, they lead. They do not follow. From lawn mowers to jets.

The Ridgeline will be the current pilot with a bed. Same engine, transmission, interior, and probably even the dame grill. If you love the Pilot but want a bed the Ridgeline is a great truck. If you want a commuter car but you need a truck to replace the balls you had that have crawled all the way up inside you then the Ridgeline will be an amazing truck.
