Negative on the Cali thing, that look is the Midwests fault. 10" lift, 30" rims and 32x15" MT's. Can't stand it

My apologies if I misread your intentions. That's the problem with that there Internet, no subtle nuances to read and interpretations are frequently wrong.

Glad you got a discount. Anything for your service?

Love the color, might have mine repainted in that...(1st Gen)

Well if Id'a accepted the handy, I would'a had to pay MSRP.

I have a soft spot for earth tone matte colors. I've seen some older Toyotas in a moss green I wish they would've kept. It's probably my all time favorite factory color.

I finally got a chance to check out the 2016's up close today. I went into the dealer to pickup an oil filter for my truck and I stopped into the truck showroom to have a look at a few of the 2016's they had inside.

I sat down in a Limited with moonroof and one thing I noticed right away was the severe lack of headroom. I'm 6'1" and my head would touch the roof just by sitting up in the seat. That made me feel very claustrophobic. I dunno how you tall guys are driving your 2016's with moonroofs. My head would definitely bang the ceiling over every bump. That would be a total deal breaker for me.

The rake, or stance, sure. I'll own up to cali taking the prerunner look. Its the terrible, wide, low pro tire look. Follow any diesel truck page on instagram, and all the midwest folk have those god awful rims and tires on otherwise decent looking trucks.

I wonder if the seat just needed to be re-adjusted. I've seen people posting having sunroof and being over 6ft with plenty of headroom. I guess also depends on your posture.

I got a 2015 AC OR in MT 5 months ago and now it's time for the wife to pick out something new to drive. I thought she might end up in a Subaru Forester or Outback but she drove the 16 DCSB Sport in a MT and an OR in AT and loved them enough to knock Subi out of consideration. She also drove the Prius V and liked the comfort and mega mileage they get.
Since we already have two Toyota trucks (1990 Hilux still going) Personally I was pulling for the boosted Forester because they are so fun to drive and handle so well in the snow. The Prius seems like the smarter choice because it keeps us under the Toyota roof of reliability, resale etc. and makes the overall family fleet more versatile. The thought of lining up the three trucks and following each other on the trails with our friends aboard has me cheering for the Tacoma.
What to do, what to do,,, the struggle is real
If she gets a Taco it must be an TRD OR she insisted. BTW

I vote for a second Taco. Then you won't need the Hilux and you can send it my way :)

I applaud your angle of attack but I love this old truck. We use it a lot and it is awesome to scrape our way through the brush and take notes on what trails we can revisit in the new one.
Not afraid to wheel the new ones a bit, I did read the manual and it says Off Road in the book as well as on the rear of the truck.

We are now a 2 Taco family. No reason why the wife (like me) shouldn't have fun too!

Wait for the 2016 Prius to be released early next year if mega-milage is important; MPG is impressive. Having a Taco and a Prius is a nice balance of functionality. We have a '13 Taco and a '10 Prius and use them for what they are each best at.

Ditto. Wifey has a '13 Prius to follow up her '06 (totaled in rear-end collision, miraculously no injuries to us), but bitches how much stuff she can't fit in it.

But then she doesn't like trucks.

"That's OK Honey, I'll like trucks for the both of us."

You need to post several pictures of both trucks side by side.

That's why I got the DCSB OR without the sun roof. I'm 6'3" and have plenty of room before my head might get close to the roof.
