Current limited prices at $38k, wouldn't be surprised if the new limited model with all the additions reaches $40-41k, thats the current fully loaded GM twin price too.

 sorry I'm used to being on the defensive...
Wow!!! That's insane. Base for me please. the amount of money that jumps between base an options is outrageous! That's the price of a full size!

Yep I made an bad choice last year and bought a 2014 Sierra Double Cab Z71 4WD for $36k out the door, truck didn't fit me, traded a few months ago for my taco which was $33k. Midsize truck prices are ridiculous.

We're they equivalently matched with options and miles? There has to be more than a 3k difference... hopefully.

Yep just brands and it was truck month so I ended up with 10k in rebates, sticker was $42, so got a ton off (but I guess thats how the domestics do it). Where there's hardly any wiggle room in tacomas. Its ok, its worth it to me cause I love my tacoma and missed the one I had before, just didn't have as much faith in the sierra. Similarly equipped, had touch screen, lcd display in instrument cluster, powerseats, etc. so actually more options.

I just spoke with a guy who works directly for the manufacturer, I learned that the Inferno color that the Pros come in will be a standard color offered for the 16s.

They're bringing one to the Denver auto show here soon too. I'll be there. He's going to send me some more info.

It probably won't be the inferno...as it doesn't exist yet supposedly haha. He said there's only the two built right now (which I found odd), the blue and the tan one. Said they were working on getting it shipped over here but it's going to cost around $9,000 since they have to essentially bubble wrap it and ship it in a steel trailer

And from what he said that will be the only "new" color. The rest will be the same from their previous lineups.

Okay, unrelated but what's the deal with the domestics offering thousands off their trucks. What is the actual value? Either they're giving away trucks 10k below market value or marking them up 10k more. And it's probably the latter otherwise you could buy one for "reduced price" and then trade it in for 9k more.

So if THAT is the case and they're marked up 10k, what will a dealer tell me when it's not truck month and I walk in with a kbb statement thousands below their asking price?

Not sure it was my first time buying a domestic, it helped though with trade since I traded it for $31k at the end of the year so not a huge hit, but Im sure it impacts resale value. Part of the reason you never see huge incentives off Hondas or Toyotas.

I hope you are right about this, I almost pulled the trigger on a 15 Pro because I liked the color so much. Decided to wait to see what the 16 is like and by the time I can drive one it will be too late to get a new 15 Pro. I would much rather have an inferno 2016 TRD Sport DCLB 4x4 for around $35k (guessing the price) than an inferno 2015 TRD Pro DCSB 4x4 for $40k. Nothing against the pros, I still love them, I just would rather have the newer technology and don't need the stronger off-road suspension.

Does that mean they won't be doing a Spruce Mica again? This would have been a sick truck if they managed to bring that back.

I just bought a 2015 despite the 2016 on the horizon. I was reluctant given how awesome the 2016 looks, but the 2nd gen has so much history/documentation I'm happy I went with the 2015 so far. I haven't even had it for 2 weeks and already did fog lights, 5100 shocks, speaker upgrade, amp upgrade, seat tilt, clutch adjustment, weathertech, truxedo duece, pop n lock, horn, mirror... Pretty sure I wouldn't be able to breeze through all those things on the 2016 without 10 years of awesome posts by members here. Thank you!

Where is the photo shop guy/gal who does this with the inferno color? I would love to see what it would look like.
