If no one wished, wishes would never come true. :)

Mine did. Sure, I could only afford a 2014 for now, but hey... I own a Tacoma. Woohoo.

That's the truth! I've already been trying to recover from canopy sticker shock. But it'll all be ok. :)

The domestic CFO has cleared me hot up to $40K on my 2016 Limited. She then asked if I was going to get the tri-fold and steps!!

I was ready to renew vows right then. Love that woman!

She hates trucks - scared of them - but knows I want it and supports me.

    Even more amazing.

    You really think so?

I bought an '05 when they first came out and I didn't have any problems w/ it. Nor did I hear about a lot of problems with the new 2nd Gens, other than perhaps the frame rot which didn't seem to effect us in warmer climates.

I for one believe that the 16's are going to be well built.

My 2007 TRD Sport 4X4 DCLB love of my life has just been sold ~Amazing Truck~

And will be replaced with a 2016. If only a Pre-order could be placed, I would rest better at night.

You will be getting a better truck in every way. It's not often one gets two loves in their life. This next one will be around for 10 years or so too.

I don't know if I could do it. I will probably buy a 3rd gen but my 05 is a keeper...... she stays! I'm capable of loving them both.

Would have loved to have kept her (for myself), But the funds were required for the 2016 and she's staying in the family. She's just moved up to the farm :)

It seems like a long road, but I believe it will be worth the wait :D

I understand Toyota needs to keep engine specs hush up until right before launch, but can't they at least release more pics of more colors and cab configs? I really want to see the DCLB already. Why did Toyota even release the styling in January if they aren't gonna give us any more info months later?

To keep people that were leaning towards the GM twins from buying and waiting out for the new Tacoma, spur interest, etc. They are gonna keep hush hush close to release to work details out and keep the competitors at bay.

Being able to see more colors/configs really wouldn't give the competitors any more juicy info to try to one up on.
