I stopped at my local Yoda dealer in the Mile High City last night to inquire on any info they may have on the 2016's. I was told that they will not start taking orders or have any specific information until Oct 6th. I asked if they meant Aug 6th, and they said nope, Oct 6th, they have no info at this time. I told him to join Tacoma World if he wanted some "info". The sales manager then said, "We have plenty of 2015's if you would like to get into one of them. We could even come down a couple hundred on the MSRP." I told him no thanks.

The best was when he said they had some 2015's already mod'd and ready to take to the mountains. I told him that I wouldn't pay $7k for a dealership installed lift kit. I would do it myself. And then he stated: "You'll void your warranty if you do that, so you have to buy from Toyota and have us install..." When I mentioned the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and the specifics of the Act, he replied "Looks like you have been doing your homework". My reply, "have to do your homework when salesmen lie to customers" and then walked away.

That is why I deal with USAA when I buy my vehicles. The less interaction I have with the salesmen, the better.

Just go ahead and pull the trigger on a 4x4... I said the same thing as you and now I'm having buyers remorse on my 2015 prerunner... I told myself "I don't off road", "that didn't need it", "I'm not going to put a lift on it, I'm just going to keep it stock", ect... Man I'll tell you what, it's true what they say on this website, you've better of got a nice bank account, because this website will make you want to put all these mods on your truck. You'll get the itch to start off roading too, trust me. I was also rushed to buy a new truck because I thought I was moving for my work last october and wanted a more reliable truck than my 2003 tundra (had a '99 tacoma before that), but things didn't workout and I didn't end up moving. A few months ago I started getting the itch to put a lift, new wheels, tires, ect...But I can't even go off roading in it like I'm wanting to do when I go hiking, camping, kayaing, and mountain biking. Ahhh!

So now I'm in the big pickle of trading in or selling my 2015 prerunner for a 2016 4x4. I thought about trading it in for a 2015 4x4, but just feel like I'd regret not getting a 2016 for some reason. I love the look of the 2016 and like how it just looks like an updated version of the 2nd gen too, nothing too dramatic.

All in all, it WILL haunt you by not going 4x4, I promise you that.

Basically they can't void your warranty unless they can prove your mod is the direct cause.

That's a sweet deal. I thought I had it good. Looked up truck I wanted, called dealer, got total prkce, called credit union, they sent the money, I went to sign at dealer and rolled out. Most expensive hour of my life so far haha.

The modification/warranty issue it complete bs. What's really great is the trucks that come with lifts around me have freaking spacer lifts on the front and lift blocks. One time offroad and the front is messed up.

it was actually the Toyota Autonation off of Arapahoe. I have been dealing with them a lot over the last several months. Haven't had this problem before.

I need to reach out to the Internet sales manager. He is a vet and treats military very well. He just wasn't in the day I stopped by. This really is the first time that I have had this kind of experience with this place.

I will for sure let him know what I was told by this other joker. And I did get one his business cards for that purpose.

I love the Limited!! But from the information that's been posted online, you can't get a LIMITED ACCESS CAB. I hope all that information online so far is wrong.... I'll be pissed if I don't have the ability to get an Access Cab Limited. Or...be able to build a TRD Sport with the same goodies as the Limited.

    Wait....Yea...I am bitching!! LOL

Limited is DC only. It looks to me like the leather seats are the only thing you get on the Limited that you won't be able to get on the Sport. Essentially, the Sport with options will be a Limited without leather.
