Thank you for the update.. 50k miles is more than I will ever ask for on any set of tires, excellent value.

I got mine (265/75R16) a few weeks ago. Got to use them wheeling in the Mojave desert going through rocky terrain as well as climbing dunes and they performed extremely well. Don’t notice any excessive road noise. They were just as quiet as the dealer supplied stock tires I just replaced. I am very happy with them so far. For me RWL in. 8676212F-3EC0-487B-B057-1F70EC8D0D20.jpg 9628E39A-89C2-4566-94CA-67139A0CFF93.jpg

Had them on my tundra, really great alternative to BF's and for a lot less. The grabbers were the best snow tire i've run.

Are most people running the E load? Seems like it make be overkill unless you are maxing out your loads and towing capacities.

How are folks experiences with the SL loads? About to pull the trigger on a set of 265/70/17 115T SL, $680 otd.

I’ve had my SLs for 11k miles...I’ve hauled quads quite often and tow 16’ bass boat few times a month they’ve always been up to the task

Nice review. Those trips over the Cascades to the Coast can be kinda sketchy when it's icy & snowy out. Same reason I have 3 peak tires myself.

Any reason why you left out Duratracs? I'm pretty sure you can get them in Load E

I don't have experience with SL loads, but I thought I'd share that you can run Load C duratracs if you want something in the middle of SL & E.

I run Load C duratracs in 265 75 R16. They're great and they don't rub. Not quite as stiff as an E tire, but that's a plus in my book.

I have run the duratracs on my old 04 Tacoma and liked them, but not enough to pay the $200+ price difference. Unfortunately that is a key factor at the moment.

Yeah, they are proud of them, aren't they? Haha. Some people genuinely dislike them for noise or sidewall reasons, so I was just asking to see if that was the case.

I had AT2s on WJ and I was pretty impressed with them. They seemed to do better in the snow than KO2s too.

Pulled the trigger on some 265/70/17 SL ATX. Fills the wheel well to the max, no rubbing yet, looks good. RWL in for me. Thanks all for the feedback.

Had a friend with them... they were mud-tire loud, which, I got over having the mud tire noise on my truck back in my early 20s....

I'm running the E-rated (don't recall if I specified). I do tow and haul, couldn't really see a downside besides the slightly higher cost.
Would be hard to compare, but I'd be curious if they rode any different.

I didn't notice anything going from the stock Wranglers to the BFG's in E, so can't really compare.

I had the SLs on for about 28k miles. I've taken them up numerous trails and fs roads across the Rockies and they've always performed perfectly. No flats. Always great traction. I just pulled them off this week b/c I got a lift and went a little bigger. I have them posted over on the Colorado FS thread if anyone is interested. 265/70/17.
