Great price. I run the Grabber MT because of what I use my truck for. (and I got them free). Before them I ran Toyo AT's and they lasted 50k miles.

Just as any tire, it depends on the "ply". A load range "E" tire will be heavier than a "D" which is heavier than a "C". My "E" rated 285 16 GT DOT tires are heavier than my 37 17 GT race take offs (non DOT) "C" load rated. But my 37 GTs are lighter than my 37 Toyos. Go figure.

Darn it. I had mine ordered from Discount Tire and they called to tell me that the Grabbers in my size are on backorder with no ETA on when they would be available. I ended up going with Cooper AT3 instead and went up to a 275/70/17. I still prefer the Grabbers but I couldn't wait on them.

the DOT version of the dezert race tire are heavier than a typical tire. the tires the OP put on are not the DOT race version... they are the all terrain.

everybody seems to be confused as to which tire they are talking about... the sick, gnar grabber tires with the red letters are commonly refered to a "grabbers" and are on national back order... the AT2 tire, which most people seem to be refering to and which the OP put on are not a DOT version of the race tire, and are not o back order

Very nice! Thinking about buying 265/70/16 AT2's soon. They look very similar to BFG A/T KO's...
