Hello I have a question for anyone. As I press the break down to stop my Tacoma I’ve noticed that I hear a “ Click “ sound. But once I get moving it’s smooth sailing.

Someone might have a clearer answer but it sounds like abs or traction control. That's normal.
Sometimes the lower shock bolt or swaybar links can cause a click if loose or worn but that's typically going over bumps.

    Welcome to the Forum!!

Noises can be so tricky !

It could be as simple as a loud brake light switch. Something loose in the brake pedal linkage.

Some many things it might be.

So many things indeed but isn't it fun trying to help figure out clinks, clanks, bumps, thuds and vibes? heh

If you just hear one click/tink when you stop after changing directions or stop after driving awhile your likely hearing the front brake pads shifting on the pins, it's pretty common with the front caliper design as the pads have a slight bit of movement on the pins that hold them in place.

Mine has done it since it had about 15 k on it, I don't worry about it although some people have tried various ways of keeping them quiet.
The most common one seems to be adding a second spring clip to them.

First remove all loose objects from your truck after taking pictures to document exactly how they are filled ... glove box, seat bins, armrest console, pockets in the bed.

If the noise is gone after, start adding back one storage-site at a time.

I have stored ... oh ... one or two things and can hear a noise on braking or on acceleration.

It’s called brake pad slap and happens because of the design of the brake calipers, almost every Tacoma gets it at some point. It is annoying but harmless
