What’s up everyone. I am looking to replace leafs on my 02 taco. I am reading mixed reviews on this forum about ppl’s experience purchasing from General Spring.

Does anyone have any recent feedback regarding leafs they purchased from General Spring? Do you recommend those over any local ones I can purchase at Auto Zone, Oreillys, etc?

I bought the same springs but from Rockauto for cheaper. Same part #. 2000 miles on them and Im happy with em with or without loads.

I got General probably 7 years ago. Was like $150 for a pair. They rusted in a week—there’s no coating on them. (My genuine spring on a different truck are not rusted after 10 years in northeast.). They are also soft when loading up the bed. The ride quality is fine, nice, no complaints. But I load up most of the bed of wood and truck is on the bump stops. GL-

2nd gen but I’ve had their HD leafs on for about a year and a half. No issues. They are strong, and the price was right

Which springs exactly did you buy? Rock Auto has four different spring packs with the same part number 90237. Only one of them is cheaper than purchasing from General Spring.
