    Afternoon folks,

I'm considering upgrading my suspension based on age and upcoming needs (and performance, I would imagine). Everything is stock except the shocks, which are 5100s all around which were installed a month after purchasing the truck in 2011.

I'm looking at Fox 2.5 Coilovers with reservoirs for the front, Fox 2.0 with reservoirs for the rear, and an Icon adjustable leaf pack for the added constant weight.

Since the cost of the individual parts is already pricey, I am considering performing the work myself. The way I figure it, the leaf pack should be easy to do, but it was the shocks I am unsure about. There are lots of videos and tutorials I can find on how to do it, but I wanted to get people's opinions whether it is better to have a shop do it or just roll up my sleeves? I've been enjoying doing work on my truck and plan on continuing with it, so there is that for what it is worth.

    Thanks!

Do you have a link to this ICON Adjustable Leaf Pack??? I have the 3 Leaf Progressive ICON AAL on my truck but don't see any availability of adjustments.

I see you’re in CA. There are tons of TW members from around there, and many of them would probably be happy to help you install your suspension in exchange for beer :D

I really like the Icon pack, the flexibility is awesome.

The front shocks are not hard to install, just make sure you have the correct tools and take your time.

I would highly recommend getting a UCA at the same time.
